This is a wonderful product. Some may consider it a bit old fashioned, but honestly it's a big help with large numerals and even a little light to see what the time is during the night. The most amazing thing is the total silence of the clock. Highly recommend.

One night during my sleeping hours, there had been a short power outage. The power came back on but the alarm didn't go off in the morning because the electric clock needed to be reset , and I overslept, missing an important appointment ! Ever since then I have made sure to use a battery operated bedside clock to avoid that ever happening again. This little clock does the job perfectly, it's silent, easy to read and best of all no electromagnetic frequencies to interfere with REM sleep :-) Believe it or not , even a small electric clock or worse yet, a cell phone, gives off an electromagnetic field that can interfere with the Human nervous system, even more so in especially sensitive individuals. EMF pollution and electro-sensitivity is real and many who suffer from it may not even realize it. Using battery operated devices when possible helps to minimize this. I am happy with this clock, thank you .

Cool little garage clock. This started out as a camping clock and is now in my garage in my man-corner 😎 It’s pretty much plug and play and ever since I put a battery in it works fine. Keeps good time too!

I'm going to start by saying that this DOES make noise. It might not be a tick, tick, tick... but it makes noise. It's only heard when everything else is completely quiet, but might bother someone trying to sleep. And there is no AM or PM setting, so if you're going to use this for an alarm clock, you need to shut the alarm off and then remember to turn it back on later, or else it's going off every 12 hours. I'm only using this for my bathroom, so it meets my needs and the noise and alarm setting won't affect me. I just wanted to make sure anyone reading reviews might be able to read and see the info. Otherwise, this clock is just as advertised. It looks nice and is easy to set the time. It's a perfect size for my bathroom shelf too.

And one may wonder why, in the era of smartphones, it would be necessary to purchase an alarm clock, right? I didn't really get it for the alarm feature but rather, because I needed to check the time while teaching an online class, and this clock is perfect! I place it close by where I can inconspicuously keep an eye on it and it keeps me on track! It is very light, it has good, readable black numbers that stand out on the white clock face, and it is actually very, very accurate! It is battery-powered (batteries not included) and easy as 1, 2, 3, to set up. I also like the colour, and the alarm sounds quite loud (not that I will ever use it to wake me up -I promise-) I remember my father used to love his alarm clock -one very similar to this one, but red- and he swore by it! So, who knows how many people out there still rely on analogue clocks (like me) for certain things? It is made of plastic, so if you want something fancier, look elsewhere. In my case, this is just what I needed; small, light, readable, and inexpensive. I certainly love it and would buy it again, if need be.

Clock is definitely NOT silent - it makes a mechanical noise - ticking multiple times per second - that can be heard from 6 feet away in a very silent room. I own several other silent clocks - and they are completely silent. This one is disappointing.

This click is perfect to put in the corner when I have clients. A subtle cue to be timely. It is good for my needs.
