This is perfect for us. We put smoothies and yogurt in this and love it. We’ve been using it in place of pouches and it’s saved us so much money. It is important to pop the bottom bubble before assembling after washing or else it won’t suck, but it’s just a quick squish between the fingers before you assemble it so it’s not a big deal. If it’s chucked to the ground some drops will spray out but it doesn’t leak out. Once it’s assembled don’t take off the bottom. The suction only works when screwed on tight at the bottom. I learned that the hard way when I forgot to squish the bubble and undid the bottom and yogurt plooped out.

I was so incredibly excited for this item but unfortunately I’ve had it for about a month and one of the straw parts has already ripped because it’s SO incredibly tight and difficult to seat the straws into the collar. It’s also already very discolored from pumpkin puree (which wouldn’t be a deal breaker but the rip is). I am hoping customer service will reach out to me to make it right instead of having to go through the hassle of returning it. It works pretty well for purées and even thicker things like cottage cheese and oatmeal. Having 2 straws (the more narrow and the wider straws are musts IMO). It works well but the price for the item is astronomical and the quality is obviously lacking considering it is damaged within a month of use with use every few days and by only one child. Sometimes the vacuum action inside doesn’t work quite right either because it will start out fine and then becoming increasingly more difficult to suck as you’re using it. I had it in my mind that I would get this SUBO bottle for every new mom but I can’t in good conscience do that now. I wish they would fix the mouthpiece issue and also would like if they came out with a weighted straw option for this as my son likes the diameter of this to hold and I’d like to use it as a normal thin liquid straw cup; I feel for the price the quality should be better and it should come with more.

My grandson liked this. His Mom made purees from different foods and loaded them in this feeder. This helped him eat and not push it back out of his mouth with his tongue.

Works as described but not all that great. My baby still made huge messes with it and it sat in the cabinet for quite some time. It erupted like a volcano when she would drop it on the floor which she thought was hilarious! Now that she is a toddler we use it relatively often for yogurt instead of the individual little pouches and it works great. It is annoying to clean so I usually chuck all the pieces in the dishwasher. I think ai spent $20 when I got it and I wouldn't spend that much again.
