A very good product for ant control. Does not faill controlling ant.but you must position in the right place for it yo work. Also must keep the bailt for a suitable period of time for it to be effective.

Tiny ants appeared in my pantry for no apparent reason. These unwanted guests were numerous, active, and annoying since they were in a food prep area. They had to go. Day 1 after I laid out the bait, well, I didn't pay that much attention. Day 2, I noticed about 15 dead ants and 2 or 3 live ones. Day 3 - nothing. All gone. I assume the queen and her colony have been eliminated since there has been no ant activity for over a week now. As a precaution, I washed my hands after handling the container, of course, and I left it in a spot that had activity but wasn't near food. I have the same container located on the kitchen floor now and will keep it there until and if I need a replacement. Only drawback is that you have to punch holes in the metal container, but that's really not a big deal. A screwdriver works for this. I was afraid the ants were too small to get into the bait effectively, but the product somehow worked even on these minuscule pests. Highly recommend.

This is the one to get! I'd had a problem with small ants coming in along my kitchen baseboard, from under a cement slab beneath my apartment. I wanted to buy the kind of traps that will not only kill the ants that eat the bait, but will kill the rest of the colony with the poison the others bring back. It's also important to me that the traps be friendly for humans and animals. These traps do it all. The bait is solid, not liquid, but the solid does crumble and a bit will come off on whatever you use to punch the holes with. The holes in the traps allow the ants to enter. Bait is contained inside the trap, and you just punch holes along the perforations so the critters will smell the bait and come inside the trap. You'll need to use firm pressure with a throwaway pen, pencil, or wood stick to punch the holes. There is no smell that I noticed, and I am very chemically sensitive. I put out the traps January 27, and within 24 hours, I had a large number of ants on the floor, surrounding one of the four traps I put out along the wall where the ants had been coming in. Most seemed to be dead or barely moving. After I cleaned them away, over the next three days, I saw a minimal number of ants around some of the traps. Right away, I cleaned everything I found that wasn't moving or barely moving (I left the fast-moving ones to head back to the colony). By the fourth day, I saw NO ANTS at all. It's now Feb. 3 and I haven't seen a single ant since Jan. 31. I'm planning to leave the traps out for a month total, just in case. My experience has shown that the ants, once they ingest the poisoned bait, don't always make it back to the colony. Hence, the "stunned" or dead ones that I had to clean away. Obviously, enough made it back to the colony to bring the poison and kill the rest. Grade: A+ for effectiveness and convenience of use, and the traps are inexpensive (just under $10.00 for four of them).

Review an ant bait? Don't you have a life, you ask? Maybe, to answer the second question. But a big YES to the first. Where I live in SoCal, we have no flies, no mosquitos, no pesky anything (yes, I be bragging). Except ants. So many that when I moved in two years ago, I swore the house was built on top of a giant ant colony. First summer, they took over the kitchen. Total nuisance. Tried 5-6 different approaches and products. Nothing worked, until I found these little pucks. Set it out and wait. When they come, just wait. They will just disappear or you might need to vac up the fallen. And, if they come back, like they do here, just repeat. But, stop your worrying! You will never win the war, but you can win every battle. My only warning is the ants like whatever is in these so much, that if you leave one out on accident, they may very well find it and you'll have ants where you didn't before.

Can’t tell if they work because you can’t see in them like the liquid traps but still worth the money if you need a quick fix
