Edit: worked great. Channels work depending on location
Edit: turns out my issue was interference from my location on channel A. Used in a different location with no issue. Got these to use for karaoke and at a wedding reception. My major problem is Channel A mic couldn't be further than 6 feet from the receiver and would cut out if I put my hand in front of the mic. Channel A also had trouble with feed back and other noises. Channel B on mine worked great, I tested the range out to 100 ft with no major issues. I'm not sure if Channel A is broken. For the price I am happy that at least Channel B works and works well. The microphones are top heavy but feel somewhat durable. The bottom portion of the microphones are plastic of okay quality. From what I can tell the audio quality is good. I was happy with how it picked up my voice. These are directional and you need the mic close to your mouth if you want to speak with an indoor voice.

Buyer beware! Misleading product disclosure and very poor customer service.
I ordered these Samson Stage 200 Handheld wireless mics because they were reasonably priced, had good reviews and I have ordered another Samson Microphone before and was very happy with it. However, when these microphones arrived, there was a sticker across the entry point of the box saying that if I opened the package that they would not be returnable. Now, how exactly am I to determine whether these microphones work or if they suit my needs without opening the package? I went back and checked the listing page on Amazon for this product and found nothing that said that I couldn't open the box! A couple days after I contacted the company, they responded to say that I needed to contact Amazon for a return authorization and return them. Now, these microphones may, in fact, be fine but I'll never know because now I have to send them back, order something else and hope that they arrive before the event that I need them for. VERY disappointing and should explain why I gave them only one star. I don't know how I could have prevented this from happening, but I'm suggesting that other buyers beware of this company and their lack information concerning it's product policy and poor customer service.

Disappointing Quality from Samson
I purchased these microphones because the Samson CH88 that I have been using for years finally died and is no longer available. The price for the VH200 was great, but I thought that these mics would be comparable since they are from Samson...They are no where close to the quality of the Samson CH88...For a start, there is no way to turn the gain up inside of the mic to adjust the output, so I had to crank the volume all the way up on the sound board in order to get the same volume as the CH88...Also, in order to be heard, you have to keep the mic right up to your lips, and if you back away at all, the sound drops out. I will say that the set up is pretty easy, but they do not work well for any kind of serious gigging/singing. Once you have a good quality mic, you will notice how cheap these mics really are...I guess with these, you really do get what you pay for...

NO FUNCIONA, CONECTÉ DE DIVERSAS MANERAS EL EQUIPO AL AMPLIFICADOR Y NO ENTREGÓ SEÑAL DE SALIDA. SE VE QUE LA RECEPCIÓN DE LA SEÑAL DE LOS MICRÓFONOS SI FUNCIONA, PUES LOS INDICADORES DE RF Y SEÑAL SE PRENDEN, PERO NO FUNCIONÓ.
