Good quality medium compression green balls for kids age 10 to 12 who do not play with yellow balls yet
Not much to say. Most people who tried tennis, or who have kids taking tennis classes, know what they are. For those who do not know: These are green balls designed for ages 10-12. If you are familiar with USTA recommendations, they recommend foam red balls for ages under 8, followed by low compression orange balls for ages 8 to 10, followed by medium compression green balls for ages 10-12. From age 12 up, it is only yellow balls. Better young players move to yellow balls sooner, but some tournaments (e.g., in 12 and under and sometimes in 10 and under category) are played with green balls, so it is good if your kid has a few to practice to get used to them. These are not balls for adults. They do not bounce quite as high as standard yellow balls. They fly slower and bounce lower than yellow balls, but one has to work harder to play with them - you need to move closer to the ball and hit harder to get it over the net. A yellow ball that was 1-2 months out of the pressurized can would become similar to a fresh green ball. In the green balls category, there is only a handful of options available, and these are considered the better ones. Many tournaments are played with exactly these balls. Since it is a "specialty product" in some ways, with both limited demand and limited supply, it is priced a little higher than many yellow balls brands.

Perfect as glides for 2-wheeled walker.
Perfect to use on the rear legs of a 2-wheeled walker as glides. The tennis ball construction that makes it less bouncy makes the tennis ball last longer (than regular tennis balls) as a glide on walkers. (I suppose that this would make it a better ball to play catch with your pet dog, as well.) It may be tough for some people to safely cut this tennis ball so that it can be installed on the walker. I used a sharp utility knife, leather construction gloves, and a clamp attached to my workhorse. Yah, kind of overkill, but better safe than sorry.

I bought these to cleanup scuff marks on my hardwood floors and they worked great. Also I received them a day early

Excellent Training Balls for Developing Players
I've been using the Penn Control Plus Green Dot Tennis Balls to help young kids transition to full-court play, and they've proven to be a valuable training aid. These balls are designed with 25% reduced speed compared to standard tennis balls, which allows for longer rallies and gives players more time to react and position themselves. This feature is particularly beneficial for beginners who are still mastering stroke techniques and ball control. The high-visibility felt is durable and holds up well during practice sessions, even on hard courts. The green dot marking clearly distinguishes them from regular balls, making it easy to identify them during drills. However, I've noticed that these balls may lose their firmness more quickly than expected, especially with frequent use. While they are excellent for training purposes, they might not be as long-lasting as some other options on the market. Overall, the Penn Control Plus Green Dot Tennis Balls are a solid choice for young players and beginners aiming to improve their game with a ball that offers controlled speed and reliable performance.

Bounce is on par
I will never buy tennis balls from the pet store again. These are amazing and so bouncy. My 6month old puppy won’t put it down she’s so happy. I never realized there was a difference between regular tennis balls and regulation tennis balls but I’m happy to pay more for my pup to be entertained and distract her from chewing my AirPods.

Perfect for Recreational Rallying
My wife is a beginner player and these really help you learn the fundamentals on how to swing properly Being an advanced player I was able to do full strokes and not have to worry about the ball having too much power/speed for a beginner to return. We were able to competitively rally back and forth for quite a while. When we switched back to a regular pressurized ball her skills had developed tremendously. highly recommend theses for both juniors AND adults. Just plain fun to hit around with these.

Work ok
We bought these to play Paddle Tennis at our local court but they seem to be too slow now, much slower than normal balls
