mouse was acting erratically. Moved base unit around to get it to work OK, but unit was in awkward position. Added this to replace internal antenna, and now works great in all positions. Installing on a MacPro is a bit difficult - check youtube for instructions on doing so.

Update 2019-11-27: Caution on choosing connector style. The old connector often described as "Mini PCI" is the MHF2 style connector, whereas the "M.2 NGFF" is the MHF4 style connector. If you are using a recent card, you need the MHF4 style connector. Therefore, the photos attached actually show: black wire is the MHF4 style and this product is the MHF2 that got chewed out by the MHF4 connector on the Intel AX200 card. Original review - now obsolete: The RP-SMA side is fine, but the U.FL female connector is rubbish. The clasping ring is made of 3 folder-in bits, so once it flexes open, it doesn't spring back. Plus the insides of the connector are all messed up, see attached photos. The picture with the black wire is what the connector should look like. The other photos are this product.

No quality control. I bought 10 pieces (5 sets of 2). ALL 5 packs of cables on the RP-SMA side had loose hardware where the coax shield clamp screws into the main SMA connector body. Loose by up to 2 turns. Please tighten before use.
