I bought the Ahopegarden Indoor Hydroponics Growing System specifically to grow catnip, and it has exceeded my expectations. The system was very easy to set up, and the seeds germinated quickly. As you can see in the photo, the catnip grows full, lush, and healthy under the LED grow light. The light provides excellent coverage, and the plants grow evenly without needing soil. I love that it’s clean, compact, and fits nicely on the counter. Water level is easy to monitor, and maintenance is minimal. Best of all—my cats absolutely love it. The catnip is strong, fresh, and constantly growing, which keeps them entertained and happy. This has been a huge hit in my home. Highly recommend this system for anyone looking to grow herbs, lettuce, or pet-friendly plants indoors. Simple setup, quiet to run and successfully sprouting basil, cilantro, dill, chives, parsley. Large water tank which hasn't gone down much at all in the 2 weeks since I first filled it. Will update this review if things change over time that would affect the 5 stars, but after 2 weeks I couldn't be happier. Fair price for a product that simply works, even for someone like me who is new to growing herbs.

I really love this HydroGarden and have had a great experience with it. It was very easy to assemble, and I was able to get everything set up and planted right away. One thing I really appreciated is that it comes with everything you need to get started, including the plastic pods holders, peat soil cones, plant food, and tweezers. I didn’t have to buy any extra starter supplies. All I needed were my seeds. I’ve noticed that my plants grow stronger and healthier in the HydroGarden compared to seeds I started in soil. The roots and leaves develop really well. I’ve also used it just to start plants and then transplant them into soil, and they’ve done great. Overall, I highly recommend this HydroGarden. It works well, is beginner friendly, and delivers great results.

This planter I had purchased back in jan 2024. It grew so many things from different herbs, peppers, lettuce, everything. My first hydroponic system. Easy to use and like how the light goes up as it grows, plus the two different lights (veg & flowers). The pump is very quiet and had a nice view of how much water. To provide fertilizer, easy with the measuring cups and easy to pour in. The design of the extra hole is a nice addition to keep adding water as the plants grow. The amount to grow is perfect to pull lettuce leaves off to add to a sandwich or make a small salad, grabbing some dill to add to my potatoes. Just be warned, they grow fast and big. So big that I took the dill out of the spot because it was almost touching the light and the light was pulled out to the max. Had the dill grow in a separate container. It lasted for a while but nothing like when it was in this grower -- as it has the auto light and pump. Recently the pump went out. I reached out to the company. They helped me troubleshoot and since the pump stopped working, sent me a new one. That one works great!! Back to getting my plants setup for the new season.

I love gardening, but in the winter here in the midwest, now I can continue indoors and that is super exciting. Since this is all new to me, I found it very easy to start; assembly was simple and the instructions are easy to follow. I planted all basil seeds, and they started sprouting about 7 days out. Just 2 days ago, I added the nutrients provided, and they continue to surprise me each day! I also find that plants nearby LOVE the light that the planter gives off, too, and they are thriving as well. Lastly, I purchased one for my Mom for Christmas, and she is eager to start hers, too. Well worth the price for growing your own herbs and whatever else you desire! I have a feeling I’ll be buying more!

This is my first hydroponic garden and I am very pleased with it. I love that I can use seeds from wherever I want(I used Burpee lettuce gourmet blend,) and it’s so easy to set up. My lettuce grew so fast and tastes great, I was able to begin harvesting in less than a month. The lettuce is so much fuller than expected! The only thing I would change is the lights timer, there is no visual timer and no way to change the preset times so I can’t tell how long it has been on and I am frequently confused by when it turns on and off. Other than that, I love my garden and fresh lettuce!

This is so neat and really easy to use. Easy simple set up. Easy to clean. Seeds sprouted quickly and plants growing great. Most seeds sprouted on day 2. Within 2 weeks I was trimming greens to give my reptiles. Highly recommend:)

With removable light stem it's so easy to clean. My system from a different company doesn't and it's such a pain! Still Runs well and I've had it for about 1 1/2 years. Good lighting and produces healthy growth. Only downside is only has one timer option. 16 on 8 off only option. Considering buying another system from this company. Highly recommend

Product arrived earlier than expected. Easy set up and pump appears to be very quiet . Everything you need to start growing right away. I like the clear window for water level viewing. Seems to as good as my Areogarden unit which was much more expensive. Good value for the money, especially for a beginner.
