Upgraded Easy Installation Pop Up Sink Drain Stopper and Cover

So far (I just put it in) I'm super happy with this. The information on the insert about how to unhook the existing drain popup gave me the confidence to just do it, and the new piece fit as-is and works properly, although I've kept the other washer nearby in case it seems I ought to use it at some point. I ended up choosing this one because it looked like there was a lot of clearance when open, for water to drain, and attention seemed to have been paid to providing installation information - both are true. If I run into trouble later I will update this review. For now, seeing the black coated yucky drain popup coming out, and being able to scrub the inside of the drain before putting this in, I'm very happy!

If you’ve ever wondered what happens to a bathroom sink in a house with teenagers, let me solve the mystery: it dies. And by “dies,” I mean the original drain stopper eventually taps out from the daily onslaught of hair, makeup paste, lotion residue, toothpaste cement, and whatever else my kids are testing on their faces these days. The poor thing clogged so badly it basically sealed itself shut and retired on the spot. Can’t blame it. That said — we actually liked that first one enough to buy the same model again. Installation: Super quick. The first one lasted a solid year under extreme teen conditions, so I popped in the replacement with the same optimism I have when asking my kids to pick up after themselves. Looks good with our oil-rubbed bronze faucet. Performance: Drains FAST. No more puddles slowly judging my life choices. The basket catches enough hair to build a small wig every week. The click-up/click-down stopper works perfectly. The finish looks clean and expensive, which is impressive considering one of my children washes their hands like they’re prepping for surgery… but only after being reminded seven times. The reality check: If your bathroom is used by teenagers, you WILL be cleaning this thing out regularly. That’s not a product issue — that’s a “shared housing with minors” issue. Shoutout to the seller: Packaging was clean, delivery was fast, and the product looks far nicer than the price suggests. Good customer service too — always appreciate when a company actually acts like they care about their product. Bottom line: The first one went down heroically in battle, and we immediately bought another. If you’ve got a busy household, or sinks haunted by your children's weird bathroom habits, this is an easy upgrade.

Fits perfectly and drains well. And if needed seals well to fill the basin.... Quality construction....

I tried several of these bathroom sink pop up stoppers, this one is far and away the best. Drains satisfactorily, holds water without leaking, can be taken apart to clean, and it has a brass stem valve unlike higher priced competitor who has plastic. Oh, and it looks good!

We bought 3 of these - 2 with the brushed nickel and 1 with the chrome finish. Initially we were pleased, as they seemed well made, but after a short while the finish deteriorated and became unsightly. Perhaps this was due to the quality of our (hard) water? Also, one of the mechanisms failed. The stopper ceased to pop up and now we have to remove it entirely to drain the sink.

This was a great purchase that fit perfectly (and if it doesn't then you can put on a different size washer) I ordered 2 more for our house & will be getting more for the rest of our sinks. I installed one about 3 weeks ago & decided to clean it out this weekend and could see all the junk it stopped from going down the drain. It was very easy to clean out.

Exceptional replacement, plus has a built in hair catcher! I ended up purchasing a replacement for all my bathroom sinks as they were originally bronze, but over the years have become discolored and unattractive. I purchased these and my sinks look brand new!
