Keeps Food Hot and Fresh – A Total Lifesaver!
Keeps Food Hot and Fresh – A Total Lifesaver! The VEVOR Hot Box has completely exceeded my expectations! It’s incredibly easy to use and keeps food perfectly hot for hours without drying it out. The build quality is solid and durable, and it feels like a professional-grade product, not something cheaply made. I love how spacious it is—plenty of room to store multiple trays, which makes it perfect for parties, catering events, or family gatherings. The consistent temperature control gives me peace of mind knowing that everything will stay at the ideal serving temperature. Plus, it’s lightweight enough to move around easily, which is a huge bonus. If you’re hosting events or need to transport food while keeping it hot and fresh, the VEVOR Hot Box is an absolute must-have. I wish I’d bought one sooner—it’s a total game-changer!

Works great; plastic is a pain to remove
I use this item primarily for long heated rest for smoked beef brisket. This warming oven is plenty large, and construction quality seems acceptable (not incredible, but appears fine). I checked the oven's temperature calibration with a separate thermometer, and the oven temperature is correct. It also comes with a small water container at the bottom of the oven to provide some extra humidity, which is helpful to prevent meats from getting dried out during a long heated rest. As the other reviewers have stated, removing the protective plastic from the oven out of the box is a huge pain in the butt - plan for that to take a couple of hours or more, depending on how picky you are. But functionally it's working great for me.

DO NOT PURCHASE UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY TO WASTE!
I purchased this warmer and it worked well for 28 days. On the 29th day the warmer stopped working. When you turn the warmer on, the temperature is reading higher than you have it set for ie: I have it set for 160 degrees, it went up as high as 218 degrees but the warmer was super cold. The doors had what looked like smoke coming from it as if it was too hot however when you opened the warmer it wasn’t even 50 degrees inside. I contacted the company (they only communicate via live chat) all for them to say someone will email me instructions on how to fix it. It’s been 5 days and as of today there hasn’t been an email from them. See video attached!

Worked Great
Purchased it to hold multiple briskets for holiday BBQ. Worked like a champ. Also kept other items at serving temps without using the stove in the kitchen. For people who do a lot of BBQ or entertaining, I highly recommend. The only downside is removing all the plastic wrap used in shipping. Some of the seal was behind screws and rivets. Pain to remove before first use. But any that is left will burn and stink, so removal is a must.

Works ok.
This warmer doesn’t really heat up our food very fast. If we heat it first and then hot hold in here is works much better. For us it’s just ok as it doesn’t work exactly like we were hoping. Is it big enough to hold 3 full pans but it doesn’t take up too much space.

great value
I used this for BBQ and it held temp for 24hrs. The only thing i would change is the small water cup to a larger pan for long holds.

Not Great / Depends on Your Needs
The oven held a decent temperature with a typical variance of +/-15 degrees. See photo from independent probe. I thoroughly tested with a pan of water 3 times. Typically set at 149 deg to get 140 min/160 max. 140 is food safe and my target hold temp to reduce additional cooking. I bought to finish/hold meats like brisket and plate rib. Justified the purchase for a big party. 1 brisket I held in this was a B grade. The 165 peaks overcooked and inconsistencies were not ideal. BUT, if just looking to hold food for an event, less than 2-4 hours, this would work fine. Held hots (non meat) just fine for 4 hours with little burning. I would not use for meats again. About the unit: It is covered in blue protective wrap. Took 2 of us about 30-45 minutes to remove. Pain. Plastic under the rivets had to be "burned off". The door is magnetic and has large gaps at the top and the bottom. Not even close to a sealed door. Wastes energy and likely causes the fluctuations in temp. Temp is way off. Needed to adjust by 9 degrees to match my probe temp. Do NOT trust the display temp. The instructions are near comical. No doubt written by a chinese man with English as Second Language. Actually a high point for the humor factor in translation. The control panel makes little sense. Not even going to try to explain. But calibrating temp or any other function is near archaic. I don't even think well written instructions would have helped. Bottom-line: Not for precision temp hold. Okay for sides or hot dogs. If buying for brisket, build a souse vide cooler and get 140 deg all day...at 1/3 the price of this unit.

It works, but with some careless build quality
It does work, and with gentle use probably would last a good amount of time. Be careful when you take it out of the box, because the feet are not pre-installed and I scratched my hardwood floor with it. The interior comes dirty -- with factory grime, which took me about a half hour to clean. That should have been their job, not mine. The sheet metal comes with a sticker on it to protect it from scratches, but the glue is much much stronger than usual, and it took me a hour and a half to get it off. Maybe a heat gun would have helped. They put that protection sticker on before they put in the rivets that hold the pieces together, so when you peel the sticker off it is very hard to remove the last bits of sticker near the rivets. The thermostat is way off. After running the warmer for a few hours with some pans in it (see photo) the thermostat said 150 degrees (148 after opening the door for a few minutes) but my instant read thermometer said 117 degrees. You can get close to 150 degrees if you set the thermostat to maximum (170 degrees). Some of the rivets were missing, which is sloppy, but should not impair the function. The two hours I needed to get it usable is so unacceptable. As sloppy as the construction is, it did the job, and at a good price, and I would probably buy it again if there was no better alternative.
