Perfect fix for broken factory speedometers
This USB speedometer is exactly what I needed for my 80s car with a faulty speedo. Installation was incredibly easy, just plug it in and go. No wiring, no complicated setup. It picks up speed quickly and accurately, even compared to GPS apps, and the digital readout is clear and easy to see while driving. It’s a great modern solution for older vehicles where mechanical gauges are unreliable or hard to replace. If you’re driving an old school ride and want a quick, dependable way to track your speed, this is a solid upgrade.

Works well once the speed setting is adjusted.
When it arrived I was surprised how small it was but small is good so it doesn’t take up much space. The size of the digits are easy to read. My speedometer on my vehicle is not accurate so I wanted this for a fast easy glacé to see the speed. Upon a cold start, it usually has to connect to enough satellites before it will work. I think it will grab the satellites much faster if your outside and not moving but even if your moving and it takes a mile or two, that’s fine for what I paid. I really like it. One item that wasn’t so great were the instructions for calibrating the speed for it to be accurate. Mine was off maybe 2 miles an hour and i basically had to go for a drive and keep tweaking the adjustment. I personally did not understand the amount to adjust each time so I just guessed and road tested and it took 4 or 5 adjustments before it was good. It’s been fine since.

Not durable
Wasn't expecting much given the price but was pleasantly surprised. It's a very small form factor which is really appreciated since it's being used on a golf cart without a lot of dash space. Build quality appears excellent, it found satellites initially within about 2 minutes and now finds them with 30 seconds of starting up, usually less than 15. Accuracy is the exactly the same as the function on my phone so will assume it's very accurate. Like the fact that it's on/off with the ignition but even if it was always on, only draws about 20mah in use. No installation really, just a suction cup attachment and plug it into the USB port. Unfortunately, exactly 31 days since purchase, it died and outside the return window for Amazon.

Great for the price.
Works great in a DMG shell. Seems to work alright, a bit slow to get a connection but seems to be accurate once it does.

Has problems but OK
Not sure how many satellites it detects and uses in it's calculations, I would guess only 2 or three. This results in constant fluctuation in the MPH displayed of +/-2-3 mph as you drive [more when you are not in the wide open. It always reads ~2 mph high when it stabilizes. Once you understand these things it is nice to have the display at eye level. I have two of these units in two vehicles, both have the same limits, so it is a factor of the programming, number and frequency of signals processed. For the price it is a fair option. Just don't count on accuracy if you want to argue a ticket.

Great Speedometer
This speedometer works great! Took a bit of time to connect to gps the first time I plugged it in but after that it is quick to boot up and connect. Worked perfectly to build this gameboy speedometer.

Lick the suction cup
Probably the best little GPS speedometers for the money. It gets connected pretty quick (like by the end of my driveway) and seems to be really accurate when compared to google maps. I was planning on mounting it in a Gameboy but ultimately decided to leave it off for more visibility. It's never been sunny enough to not be able to read the face, really happy.

Speedometer converter
Very accurate I use it in my Japanese Vehicle to convert kilometers to mph.

Unable to connect to GPS until after 10-15 minutes in open area, which is very frustrating. The reading keeps fluctuating, always higher and lower than it shd be. I already used Garmin GPS, car speedometer and Waze for comparison. It is not smooth, can decend from 38 to 16 suddenly for example. Not reliable. (Even the Garmin GPS is smoother in increasing/decreasing the number, but it is just a bit slow. Waze's number is better but looks small in my tablet.) I returned back to Amazon at the end.

Great looking unit and very easy to read. However the respond time for speed changes both up and down found to be to slow for my liking

Worked for one trip then quit

The plug hole is so loose in the back of the speedometer that any vibration makes it disconnect and turn off and back on constantly. Not good enough.
