God of War: The Official Cookbook of the Nine Realms (Gaming)

This is a great collectible and also a nice cookbook, different recipes than expected though.

Very approachable recipes. Most recipes only require one special ingredient that may be a little expensive and could generally be found in most grocery stores. Generally very easy to make and easy to follow directions. I’ve made about a dozen recipes at this point including some drinks and spice mixtures. A good mixture in the type of food. The lore and flavor text on the recipes is very fun and adds to charm. The art is great. I highly recommend for a fan of the games and to anyone looking for some easy to make recipes to spice up your usual menu.

My husband is a huge GoW fan. He had no idea this existed. The dishes, drinks, spice mixes, etc. do not exist in the game, but they all could. The artwork is beautiful throughout the book. The special touch of adding stories about the recipes is wonderful. Highly recommend for GoW fans as a decoration, but not as a guidebook for any food you may have seen in the game series so far. The pages are thick. They are coated in something so they feel like they will wipe clean easily if something spills on the pages, but we have yet to test this theory.

As a collector i bought this more for the stories and artwork but the recipies have been fun to try.

Fortunately I like themed cookbooks. So I've got only good things to say. The recipes are nicely laid out and easy to follow for the most part. The ones that we've tried are really good. But its the theme that causes one to buy the book and it is packed with lore and God of War goodness. I don't know if I'd buy this if you don't want to cook, but the same can be said about any cookbook.

El libro está perfecto, las recetas están muy bien y la calidad del libro es muy buena, el único problema es que no venía protegido y trae un golpe de la logística nada grave pero deberían darle una protección por cualquier golpe o caída en el servicio postal

Eu, sendo um fã do God of War, não podia deixar de experimentar as receitas deste magnifico livro. Muito saborosas! Valeu a pena ter comprado!

It was mean to be a gift but there are numerous scratches all over the book (has nothing to do with delivery). Other than that, it looks nice.
