Works great for small holes
I picked up the black screen repair tape after discovering a tear in my window screen, and I’m really impressed. The adherence is solid the strong adhesive stuck cleanly to the mesh without bubbling or peeling, and the black color blends in nicely with the existing screen so it doesn’t stick out. It felt like a high‑quality fiberglass mesh tape with weather‑resistant properties. Using it was super easy too: I cleaned the damaged area, cut the tape to size, peeled off the backing and pressed it in place. No tools, no sewing of patches, and it took maybe a minute. After a few weeks of use, it still looks good and seems durable it’s holding up well under outdoor conditions, including some sun and wind. I’d highly recommend this tape for patching up small rips or holes without replacing the entire screen.

Easy to use and can save the screen for the time being.
Size of an average roll of tape. Very tacky. Easy to use once you get used to the stickiness. Can be cut to cover any size hole. Long lasting. Works very well. I had a cat that loved hanging on my screen so it was very tattered. This tape saved my air flow an entire summer until I was able to replace the screens.

Easy, Effective Screen Repair, But Visible Patch
I bought this window screen repair tape for $9 to fix some holes in my 20-year-old deck screen door. I didn’t want to replace the entire screen and was looking for a quick and simple fix. The tape was very easy to use—the sticky side is strong and adheres well to the screen material. It covered the holes perfectly, and after a month of hot summer sun and heavy rain, the repair has held up remarkably well. My only complaint is that the patch is quite visible on the screen, so it doesn’t blend in seamlessly. Still, for the price and ease of use, it’s a solid solution for minor screen repairs.

I highly recommend this screen repair kit for small-ish holes and tears.
Cat claws and window screens just don't play well together. Used this product a few times now. Works great. Easy to use. For small holes or tears. Saved me the time, trouble, and expense of having to buy new screens. The repairs can be seen, but they're not unsightly. I highly recommend this screen repair kit. Will not cover the giant hole made by my mother's pit bull running through my sliding door screen.

It gets the job done
It does the job, but don't count on it staying on indefinitely. I wasn't thrilled with the fact that it's essentially a piece of tape with some screen attached. If you apply it to a window screen, definitely do the sticky side facing inside or you'll find it covered in dirt/dust sooner than later. All in all, it's not a bad product, but I don't know that I'll be trying it again when my roll runs out. If you're looking to just fill a small gap here and there, it might be perfect for you if you stick it on from the outside and keep the sticky side facing towards the interior of the house. It's significantly stickier than I expected, I wasn't able to remove my soiled patch easily, and it seems pretty durable.

Super easy to install. Seems to hold well.
Update: More than a year later, facing south Florida heat and storms, none of them have come loose, fallen off, or otherwise failed in any way. Everything below still applies. Original review: Had a screen with 7 or 8 holes ranging from a thin slit to something you could easily put a golf ball through. Years ago, I'd used patches you had to sort of clip on by bending the mesh prongs so they intertwined with the intact screen around the hole. They were effective at blocking holes but were super tedious to put up. I hoped that in the ensuing decade or so, something better had come along. And sure enough, this is significantly better. Cheap, easy to cut, easy to remove the backing, easy to install, and it works. I patched all of the holes in about 15 minutes (note: if the screen isn't taut, you'd do well to have somebody on the other side hold a sturdy object up to the hole to give you something to press against...we used a foam yoga block). These aren't invisible by any means. They're at least as noticeable as the holes themselves...maybe more. If you're in the market for a seamless, invisible fix, you're going to need to rescreen the whole thing. But if you want cheap, easy, and effective, this is your product. I'll update if they seem to fall off sooner than I hope, but it's been a few weeks and some heavy rains and so far, so good.
