Really cool

I bought this as a gift to a 3 yr old boy and he loves it! It was great b/c it makes sounds and he can engage. Terrific choice. I looked at others but this was nice b/c it has lights on it and looks real but not to big either. It didn't scare a 3 yr old. The dinosaur makes noise but it doesn't overshadow the laughter and squeals of joy of a kid playin with it.

my boys love these glowin, growlin, and a marchin dinosaurs. fyi, the sound they make is exactly like 1980's Godzilla. yes, they are loud, yes, they are annoying, yes they are of poor quality, but it's for the kids, so... also, to those individuals who commented that they were delivered damage (broken) bc the tail was not attach, lol, thats how they are shipped/packaged. they are not damaged. how do i know? bc my boys wanted five of these and they all came with unattached tails and wings (dragons). and guess what? my boys want us to order them more of these, trust me your little kids are going to love em.

This little robot was very cute and all movable parts worked perfectly. The only defect was the sound mechanism did not work. This could have been due to anything but I would purchase again. My child loved it and I didn't have to listen to a lot of noise. Win/Win.

Five stars hands down! I bought three different ones, because my son had specifically asked for a 'robot dinosaur' and not knowing what kind of dinosaur, just figured, eh. When he opened these among HIS MANY MANY OTHER GIFTS he couldn't stop playing with these for hours! I am not even kidding! I just sat there with this huge smile on my face, and kept thinking: wow, wish they had things like that when I was younger! [Then again I likely would have been scared of them ha ha]. The only downside would be (like many of the other reviews) the roaring. It's not that it is loud or randomly plays when turned off. (Like really? Parents: if you find yourself annoyed with the noise, pick it up, switch the 'on' switch to 'off,' problem solved...). It's just that your child will love it so much that it will be loud and you likely wont want to stop your child from having so much fun! GREAT TOY!!! I absolutely recommend this!

Okay, here's the deal: I bought this and an identical T-Rex from another seller. They actually came from different factories, based on the wildly different (and terrible) packaging. However, they both suffer from the exact same issues: 1- The toy is ridiculously incapable of staying upright. It is 100% a design flaw, the feet are uneven, the tail provides little to no counter-balance and the absurdly limited movements serve only to tip the thing over. 2- There is no volume control, and the noise that it makes is only a second or two long, so it repeats with a tenacity and insistence that demands you smash it into tiny, Chinese factory knock-off pieces. That said, I am not at all disappointed in my purchase for the following reasons: 1- My son is 2 years old, so even if it COULD stand upright on its own, he wouldn't leave it alone long enough to do so. Instead, he just carried that thing around with him while making disturbing growling noises. For that I blame Mother Goose Club, a children's show available on Amazon Prime video (can I have my advertising dollars now please?). 2- Despite the fact that my son can control my smart house, and swear with an eloquence that would make a sailor blush, he still can't figure out the tiny, tiny switch that turns this toy on, which means that I am the magical parent who is the only one capable of bringing the T-Rex to life. An event that literally scares him off his feet so that he almost falls down every time it happens. Ah, parenting. Anyway, this is a terrible toy for a child above the age of three that expects it to be an active T-Rex. If you are a parent of such a child, consider this a zero-star review. But if you have a kid in the magical 12-30 month range, then grab one of these cheap, crappy toys. Worst-case-scenario, it's a dumb giant lizard doll. Best case, you get one of the fabled 'alternate color' versions for your child to completely ignore after 48 hours of play. Welcome to your personal corner of the dream!

I ordered this dinosaur for my soon to be 4 year old nephew. He ABSOLUTELY LOVES DINOSAURS AND Knows Them ALL By Their REAL NAMES. He doesn't have a name for this one because he knows that REAL DINOSAURS DON'T BREATHE FIRE. He already had the White one but wanted the green one. Even though the description stated "colors varies " I did as the directions said and asked "for the "GREEN ONE" BUT, I got the "White one"instead. I was DISAPPOINTED!! It would be nice to choose the color. Now the review for the Dinosaur. If you don't care about the color (as much as I did) BUY, BUY, BUY THIS DINOSAUR!!!!! YOUR CHILD WILL ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT, (they probably won't care about the color). IT ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE IT BREATHES FIRE AND SMOKE!!!!! EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE, INCLUDING, ADULTS LOVE THIS DINOSAUR!!!!! THIS REALLY IS A GREAT TOY. Just make sure you have PLENTY OF WATER ON HAND!!!

Not what we expected. Description does not match. Picture of the remote does not match. The batteries inside the dinasour were old as if it was repackaged of a used toy. Also the price, same toy is for $35 dollar in Kmart
