I've bought this item many times, as I am a crocheter. Every time, the yarn get softer and the quality goes up. I love the colors and variation if the individual skeins. Keep in mind, these are small amounts of yarn. They aren't for major projects, but it is well worth a try in my opinion. I make mushroom lighter hiders with this yarn kit. One color can be used for 2 bottoms or 1 top. I will keep buying this product as long as it is available.

These are perfect for the crafts I want to Do! If you have a small project in mind then this is perfect for it, you get enough on one skein to do a project with more skeins to either add to it or start another one. The yarn is soft, the colors are vibrant and there is enough mix bbq of colors for projects that are either good for a boy or girl.

love the colors but got fooled by small sizes, really didn't expect those small balls and there's nothing much i can do with one ball, maybe if there were at least two or three of the same color. probably have to order another pack and hope i get colors to match

The yarn is extremely cheap and scratchy. I'm knitting and it is awful. Plus the mini skeins are really just a waste. They're tiny. I am so disappointed. Waste of money.

I bought this yarn to make purses. I usually use my scraps but this collection provided a nice variety. I do agree with other reviewers that the photographs of the product are a bit misleading. The mini skeins are smaller than I thought, it would be great if they were larger. In the past I've used yarn bonbons, those are about 7 g each. In the mixed set each ball weighs about 12 g. This is a really good deal for the money if you consider that you would spend a lot more to get the equivalent number of bonbons. Other reviewers have raised a valid point that the yarn is a bit scratchy, I agree. However I'm using this to make purses so the texture of the yarn really doesn't concern me. If I was going to use this yarn to make wearable items I would just hand wash the finished product in a mix of water and hair conditioner this will soften the yarn.

This yarn is just what I wanted. I like the colors, texture of the yarn & the ease with which I was able to order the yarn & speed of delivery. I would recommend this company for the crochet yarns whenever I'm asked by friends. Thank you very much.

This is the most brilliant idea ever- tiny skeins of yarn. I make catnip mice and not much yarn is needed for each mouse so this tiny assortment is perfect. The cat owners love variegated yarn, so it's a win all around. I don't know why no one has thought of this before but I'm glad that someone thought of it now. I have already ordered more.

So by the most technical standard, this is yarn. But it is the cheapest and worst quality you could ever buy. I blame myself a little because I should have known by the low price that it would be bad but a girl can hope. I was not even going to leave a review until I started receiving a barrage of emails from the product maker telling me how great their products are and blah, blah, blah. Anyway, if you want to get a bunch of super tiny balls of dollar store quality yarn and then receive a bunch of emails about how great those tiny balls of yarn are...then, yes, you should order this product.
