Professional doorcam
I was researching for a long period of time looking for a serious doorcam which could be mounted in the wall and powered by POE (don't like wifi and don't want to be dependent on battery power). I did not like these surface mounted cameras as they can easily be ripped-off of the wall and gone. after reviewing many different products, I ended up with this one. it seemed to be the choice of professionals for a doorcam that has all the features that I want plus a couple for the future such as RFID card reader. Installation is straight forward but by no means a simple DIY job for all. it requires cutting a rectangular piece on the wall to fit the housing and secure and mount it to the wood or metal studs. when said and done, it sticks out about 3/8" and is defenitely, not an easy target for casual burgulars to shake it off the wall and run away with it (there are numerous reports on nextdoor about other products that are being stolen easily). powered by one single wire that provides both power and data is perfect. once installed, I was in business and watching my front door and could record it to my Synology NAS box. there are reviews about issues with ONVIF and setting the unit up. if you update the firmware to the latest from the Grandstream site, you notice that they have fixed many issues. this is one of the things that I did when I had it on my test bench before I installed it. the ONVIF and other issues may have been there with the firmware that it came with, but I have been using it with the latst firmware and did not notice anything. it has been running for over a month nonstop. ONVIF is right on the money and is detected right away. Very Happy!

Good quality and great features. Very nice device.
This little contraption does a lot and works very nicely. I bought it for door security/access for a small office building. I'm by no means and expert and had some help from our IT consultant setting it up but like it a lot. I have it set so that it rings through to our Grandstream desktop phones and button shows up that allows us to unlock (also shows video and has audio feed so we can see who is at the door.) We have no receptionist so it saves time walking back and forth to the front door. I will add that it was very hard to find a unit that didn't require yet another dedicated enclosure in our IT closet. Many of the other entry controls require a separate controller, transformer, and wiring and few have keypad/video/RFID/audio built in. I spent a while trying to find other equivalents from HID or other big names. I'm guessing they exist but couldn't ever find one. This was super easy in that we just ran two CAT 6 cables to the door and use POE on each to power the device and strike release. FOB setup is super easy, but I have yet to figure out how to make the keycodes work. Just haven't needed it yet. Very happy with my purchase.

Great solution for outdoor access
They work perfect and are easy to set up. Kinda hate the wire connection system though... (you have to wire with screws into their bulkhead connector with your cat cable through their grommet) . We're using it outside with good results. Interface is smooth.

Item defective out of box
Item was shipped defective, screen would only display blue back light and would not boot. (unit has a very specific boot display sequence, once booted keys can be pressed) I tried POE, independent power sources and multiple DHCP servers. I returned the unit to the seller. Fortunately I didn't give up and ordered another unit from a different seller and it booted perfectly out of the box on POE, it works exactly as described. This is not meant to be disparaging to the seller, people should know that bad units do happen!

Clear Picture & voice , RFID chip , heavy duty device
Great product , Nice looking more features, I am always using RFID chip (keyless) to enter my home , also I gave my driver RFID chip and control his entry to star from 06:00 am to 06:00 pm everyday . Also I gave everyone from my son RFID chip , If lost I stopped it immediately and replace it with new one. I have two doors system and I am using one RFID chip to enter to both doors . Also when someone ring the door the picture and voice is very clear in the phone screen. Really I like it. Thanks

Versatile and useful device, also high-end look and materias
What I like about this device is versatility - in single device you get: - ONVIF camera suitable for any standard NVR - VoIP Intercom with video - RFID and remote door control I'm primarily interested in the security camera part (to keep track of delivered packages etc), but VoIP video intercom is also quite useful - you can easily configure it to call any PC/tablet/phone with SIP client, or you can buy SIP phone. Security camera works great, it gives you fisheye-type ultra wide field of view, I was able to configure it with my NVR in no time - camera was correctly auto-detected and then I just tweaked few settings. VoIP intercom also works well, I tried it with a free SIP softphone on PC and it worked as expected. VoIP video intercom can be used with SIP server, or without it. You can just configure (up to 4) IP addresses to call, and the device will start calling them when doorbell button is pressed. Have not tried RFID door lock control yet, but based on manual it should be straightforward as well. I just ordered second device, for another door I have, to replace old intercom module. This device actually looks pretty good - stainless steel frame, lighted buttons, cool doorbell sound. It is a big visual/presentation upgrade over the old intercom units I'm replacing.

Very good video door phone. I did not installed because the family member I wanted to install for unfortunately died, but I’ve tested for months and it works very well. Need good knowledge about voip systems and some networking, and all functionality will be usable only with a brand matching ip pbx (which I have) and of course some video phone(s) from the same brand. Be aware! It’s not a ring or other gadget level doorbell, it’s a professional product which not going to work standalone without the necessary background hardware!

Bought this for testing the posibility of changing our entry phone system in the office after moving to voip. I was amazed and extremly surprise with the build quality and the product functionality. Work beautifull. We moved to the live system about 3 weekd ago. amazing!!!

Sehr gute 180 Grad Kamera.
