Scott's, Santa Maria Style Seasoning, 7 oz.

I have always been a Suzie Q person for Santa Maria seasoning but I figured I would try this one out. I was very surprised by the fragrance, flavor and balance. The seasoning could literally go on anything from steak, chicken, eggs, vegtables. You don't need salt or pepper, just use this and your done. I felt the price was reasonable and I plan to purchase more in the future.

This is literally the best spice combination for steak and chicken. And pork. No idea why we cannot find this in stores anymore. Happy that it’s available on Amazon.

Great seasoning, perfect for Tri-Tip steak cooked slow over oak wood fire. We had initially bought at a butcher shop out West and could not find again until it was on Amazon. Very happy!

This is what I put on all my steaks especially rib eyes. It is the best!

This is delicious, and almost as good as the original Suzie Q. But for the price, this is the brand I will continue to purchase. I add a few tablespoons to my homemade stuffing, and it is the first leftover that everyone wants to take home!

This is a fabulous seasoning! Here’s why... FLAVORFUL: sea salt + garlic + onion... but smoked! VERSATILE: Steak. Fish. Chicken. Ground Beef. Potatoes. Fries. Veggies. Salads. The 3 ingredients are seasoning staples making it my first (and often only) go-to seasoning for about 80% of my meals and snacks. Try sprinkling an avocado with real lemon juice and this seasoning... unbelievable! HIGH QUALITY: none of that “sand-thin” stuff we all used in the 80’s and 90’s. Within 10 seconds of adding some to your heated and olive-oiled pan, an incredible smell permeates thru the kitchen, just as it would with raw garlic and onions, only better. POPULAR: literally EVERYone who tries it loves it, and ends up taking mine home with them. I send it to my sisters, my parents, give bottles to co-workers—it’s that legit. APPLICATION TIPS: I’ve been thru enough bottles of this to learn that it CAN stiffen up IF repeatedly exposed to a lot of steam by sprinkling to close or in heavy steam. No need to be overly protective as this usually doesn’t happen until the bottom 30%, and only if repeated exposed. You can loosen it up with a knife, but best to AVOID THIS by pouring seasoning into a spoon first or scooping some out the “free pour” side with a small measuring spoon during HI-steam scenarios. IF you’re the type who appreciates: •HIMALAYAN SEA SALT •PEPPER & SALT MILLS •SEASONING (not marinating!) •GRASS-FED meat. •and QUALITY over QUANTITY... you’ll likely LOVE Santa Maria Seasoning!! IGNORE REVIEWS by people who are clearly unfamiliar with the product. I’m always frustrated to see a product’s review tally being influenced by issues unrelated to the actual product (shipping issues, problems caused by seller, etc). Quick Note on $$: Not sure why the (sudden) spike in current online price ($14 for 7oz supply). Been purchasing Santa Maria flavoring on Amazon and Whole Foods for 3 years at the usual price of $7 for the 7oz. (TBH, I’d happily pay double that)
