My wife loves tea but hates it when it gets cold. Naturally she lets it sit for like an hour because she always forgets about it but not pointing fingers...Anyways, I figured she needed a thermos kind of thing to keep her tea warm. But something cute, not intrusive, not bulky, and easy to figure out. After reading the reviews I landed on this item and let me tell you, it's awesome. Right out the packaging it's ready to use. Keep in mind you have to screw the tea trap looking insert thingy together. Don't just pop the top on and expect it to hold itself together. Also, we found that you can stuff a tea bag in there and it'll seep just fine that way. Using loose tea leaves creates little tiny particles that float around. Not sure if that's a design flaw but easily avoidable if you don't use loose tea leaves and use tea bags like we do. When it comes to keeping it clean, you'll need a tube sponge or pipe cleaner kind of sponge to get in there. It's a bit narrow to put your hands in to wash. Maybe if you have really small narrow wrists like my wife, but if not, trust me you'll need it. As far as how long it stayed hot? Well we timed it how long it stays hot and was about 4 hours until it started to feel warm. Not even cold at 4 hours. It took it another couple of hours before it became luke warm, but hey, that's pretty good! All-in-all, great product, doesn't break the bank, and most importantly, my wife loved it! Plus they come in sooooo many different shades of color "I got her carribean blue" so that's also a win.

I LOVE MY TEA BOTTLE. Had an issue with my first one, but I emailed the company and got my 2nd one which was perfect. I love my loose leaf teas and travel a lot and this is the perfect solution for my loose leaf teas on the go. I just go in the gas station and get my hot water and come back in the car put my loose leaf tea in the infuser, pour my boiling water in their and it’s like magic. Best Amazon purchase to date. and keeps it hot literally all day long

Update: It appears they fixed the coloring of the bottle in the advertisement picture, and while I still disagree with calling it hot pink, I can attest that the color in the photo now matches the product. I'm impressed that they fixed that! I did end up ordering the light purple and the color was right on. The product is fantastic! It keeps drinks hot for long periods of time and the steeper is great! Changing from 2 stars to 5! Original review: My review is based solely on the first impression. I know actual colors can vary from pictures on a screen but this is so far off the color description is just wrong. In no world is the bottle I received considered hot pink. I ordered the color I wanted and received Pepto Bismol. 1 star for solid packaging 1 star for it otherwise appearing to be what it claims to be. -3 for completely misleading about the color. I'm returning and not sure it's worth trying another color considering how far off this one was from the description.
