Remote Control 1-CH 5V Relay USB Power Control Raspberry Pi

I bought this to remotely turn on/off my bluetooth adapter connected to my stereo receiver and driven by my Amazon Echo Dot. I have two similar setups: the first one I have the bluetooth adapter power supply plugged into the switched AC jack on the back of the receiver. The Echo will switch to bluetooth when the receiver is on and to internal speaker when it is off. The second setup is similar but the receiver has no switched outlet so the bluetooth adapter stays on whether the receiver is on or off. The echo will always connect to BT and therefore will be silent when the receiver is off. I bought this remote control to switch the BT adapter ON/OFF when the receiver is used to listen to music from the Echo. After programming it with the remote I wish to use I found that it takes two presses of the remote to turn it on and two presses to turn it off. This will not work with my Logitech Harmony remote since it only transmits one Power ON/OFF command per activity. Has anyone else experienced this behavior with this remote control relay?

The remote control start was amazingly easy to set up for my Logitech remote. I always just shutdown my rasp. pi after I finished and would have to unplug and plug back in the power to restart the system. This makes it so that I can just shutdown when finished and when I'm ready to use it again, I just need to hit one button on the remote to let it boot itself on. So far running smooth with no issues after a couple months.
