Brackets worked exactly as shown.
I wanted to make a folding storable table that matched the height and width of my dining room table so that I could seat 12 . Since I throw a table cloth over the whole table when we have get togethers how it looked under the cloth was not that important. I plan on painting the legs and strut the color white to match the existing table and also add some handles. I found some Stakmore folding white wood chairs that are smaller but work ok with the existing ones. I didnt have any plans to build this from. If I was to do this again I would use a 2x4 strut between the legs or I would use 2x2 square pine legs instead of the 3x3 maple legs I used here. The only thing I didnt like on the brackets was it was hard to disengage the locking mechanism. I used some WD40 but it didnt help much.

Bracket not 90° legs are sitting at an angel
Strong, good catch with strong pin release. The bracket is not square so the leg has a 3°angle makes the leg 1" out of square ! When the leg is folded up it not parallel to the bottom of table ! There is not any way to adjust the defect out of it ! I will have to put a 3/16" shim under the foot of the bracket , not something I like to do on a custom piece !! Will not order this bracket again ! The supply was great , got the product here super fast ! The manufacture needs to check there quality control !!

Nice quality corner clamps
I bought these clamps for a short folding leg table I recently completed. The clamps worked as expected and have a small slide pin you pull forward to release the hinge. It works fine. The clamp is fairly precise in that it does return to the 90 degree position accurately. I was pleased with these and will oder more if the need arises when building future woodworking projects. middle-of-the-road quality
These brackets work but they can bend rather easily. I accidentally bent the two on one end of my table while setting it down to fold it up, and a week later they bent the rest of the way under load and spilled everything off my table. Best used for light duty and occasional use!

5 star good for what it is
Use thin lube to oil the joints, then everything moves freely. These are awesome, but not true lock in comfort position. It's a "kind of lock" ... I would call it "positional".Press lever to disengage. It can also slip, so not so positional.Pretty damn good for what it is.Decent metal, nice thickness, good groove holes and bevel angles.Use 1 & 1/2 x 1 & 1/2 for leg (actual measurement ... not nominal measurement).

Strong Spring and secure Locking
These hinges work great for fold-up legs on wooden tables. I bought this set of four as a prototype of making a table with fold-up legs and leaves, and I will be using them to build ten tables. The hinges are strong enough to keep the legs folded up and the legs 'lock' in the open position. The only side note is that the black plastic cap on the lock release lever may slip off, but can be secured with a dab of gorilla glue.

They were bent on arrival and wouldn't fold
I received these today and the first thing I noticed is that all 4 of them were bent. They weren't square, they leaned to one side. But I still tried them. I flipped up the locking lever and pushed to fold... and nothing happened. It wouldn't move. I checked that I had the lever fully out of the notch, and yes. It should have moved. I pressed it down on the table, and still nothing. I tried another one, and same thing, it wouldn't budge. The third one creaked and screeched for about 2 mm before freezing, and the fourth couldn't move like the first two.I can't see these working very well even if I oil them. They're just too far out of shape for the hinges to fold. I'd break my table leg trying to close these. They're getting returned.

Legs twisted and do lock in up position
I purchased these to put on an fold up table, when mounted the legs will not stay up when you fold them up, they only lock in the down position. The legs do not go in a straight line when folded up they go off at an angle and if place too close to the edge of the table will stick out beyond the table top. The do see sturdy but non- locking in up position is a big problem and the crooked angel has to be accounted for or they stick out. would not buy again
