Straight 5 stars out of 5. If I tried to design something better for this job, I'd probably just end up copying these anyway. Here's why these are the ones you want in your bag, on your belt, and scattered everywhere else. First thing: they're the right size. Not those miniature jokes that show up looking big in the photos but barely fit a key ring in person. I've bought plenty of those duds and ended up tossing them. These Do-Keep clips are big enough to actually use – one-handed, wearing gloves, in the dark, whatever. Perfect for real-world hands and real-world haste. Second, the build is solid. Thick metal that doesn't flex or pop open when it's not supposed to. The gate closes with authority – your stuff stays put. That tapered end lets you slide it onto belt loops, pack straps, or even a branch without looking. And the big hole at the bottom? Gold. Fits proper paracord or rope up to 1/4", so you can clip cordage quick or hang a tarp in seconds. It also keeps your keys clear of the gate mechanism, so no fumbling when you're cold, tired, or both. Third, the price is ridiculous good – around $12-13 for ten of them. That's barely more than a fast-food run, and each one will probably outlast the bag you clip it to. Weight? The whole pack of ten is under three ounces. Each clip is about the weight of three pennies. Spread them around – keys, jacket, truck, pack – and you won't even notice the load. These things seem boring until the moment something important tries to fall off your pack or out of your pocket. Then they're heroes. Buy the good ones now while you can still afford to be picky. Grab a pack or two. You'll find uses for all ten faster than you think. Highly recommended.

I bought 2 of these hooks because my rope ratchet came in without ropes or hooks. Couldn't find ratchet rope hooks for the one's I bought so I had options. These Snap hooks are well made strong nice hooks that will serve the purpose just fine.

I work at a lot of different places. At those places, there are lots of different people, and some of them have trouble keeping track of keys. Some of them have just never seen them before, and don't want me to rummage through their safe or office to track them down. I've started putting sturdy labels and clips on every single site's keys, and separating out, say, the electrical room from the network room. I have used lots of different types of clips. This is the best for my use case. They have a separate hole for the key ring, which is critical. I was passing out regular carabiners for a while. Cheap ones will just break. Expensive ones always have a chance of losing a keyring when they're opened. These just stay. The part where the wire touches the jaw looked very, very small to me. In practice, they're very rugged, and I don't worry at all about them slipping out of place. They're quite strong. They're flat, so they don't take up much space. The 1.77 inch size is big enough that you can clip them to some things that aren't designed to hold keys, which is handy. I've got about 20 of these at different sizes now. None have broken yet. I got the black ones. The paint will start chipping off immediately, which I expected. There's not much to be done about that. If you want them to stay looking nice, get them unpainted.

I have ordered these two times and can honestly say they are very nice. Beautiful stainless steel and appear very strong. I used them for my grill by threading the hole through the rod that surrounds my grill shelves. Now I can hang my grilling utensils and such with a one hand operation. Works perfectly for that.

Strong, secure easy to use and as far as I can tell they're rust proof. I've had them for a few years outside and no rust yet

Worked perfectly as a clip for my keys so can attach it to my purse and STOP misplacing my keys!
