15 15.6 inch Laptop Notebook Skin Vinyl Sticker Cover Decal Fits 13.3" 14" 15.6" 16" HP Lenovo Apple Mac Dell Compaq Asus Acer/Colorful Space Gasses

Needed a skin for my new HP Envy X360 15.6". Could find none specifically for my model. Came across these & it took me a while to decide because of the needed cutting adjustments but, I finally decided to give it a try. Here's my take on things; 1. Packaging - It was well packaged. No bending at all. 2. Appearance - Matte finish & looks just like photo. 3. Application - Easy. One or two bubbles but, was able to easily smooth them all out. Advice - Take your time. Wipe down the surface. Lay the skin on the laptop to decide just how you want the design to look. Do NOT start by peeling the entire backing off the skin. You will loose control. I peeled about 2 inches of the backing off to start my application along the base. As I slowly peeled away the backing, I simultaneously & slowly ran my fingers along the skin's surface. This significantly reduced the occurrence of bubbles. The skin applied flawlessly. After smoothing along the edges, I flipped the laptop face down and used a utility knife to cut very close along the edges. I made long smooth cuts to limit jagged uneven lines. I then turned the laptop face up and used my fingers to apply pressure along the edges to smooth out the skin and ensure full adhesion. Finally, I worked the skin into the grooves of the HP logo which shows nicely. This skin can easily be changed out & it leaves no residue, which is great. If you know you are not a patient, meticulous, process oriented person, let someone who is, apply this skin for you. It is not hard but, it helps to do it right. Wish I had the piece that applies to the hand rest to top it off, as it would blend nicely with my keyboard overlay but...my laptop is protected from scratches so, for now I'm happy. Will monitor to see how it stands up.

Just a heads up... this a DIY fit project, so if you're not prepared to put in a little work to get it right, you're gonna have a bad time. Just be a tiny bit obsessive about measuring, cutting and applying, and it will come out great, because it's quality material. This skin is thick but not cumbersome, easy to cut, easy to remove the backing and the adhesive is strong but not so crazy tacky so it still allows you to pull it up and re-stick as you go along. I have an older Dell Latitude E6430, and the skin adhered really well to the ridges on the lid and the Dell logo that's slightly recessed, with no bubbles. Time will tell to see how the edges hold up to being taken in and out of a backpack, but I did my part in edge adhesion so we'll see. I'm happy to have received the version of the graphic that's in the listing, some reviews I've seen had photos of a mirrored version and I wasn't as fond of that one. Anyway, love the design of this skin, material is nice and quality, and how well it comes out is mostly how much patience you have with it. Good luck!

Quality of the vinyl is great. It doesn't like heat to get curved edges to lay flat and smooth as much as typical automotive vinyl I'm used to, so I wound up notching the corners to prevent an easy peel up spot in the future. The print quality isn't stellar, but looks great about 2 feet away and the colors have good saturation. Even better across the room. Other than that satisfied. This laptop had some wicked scratches in the top when I got it. This was a nice quick solution rather than taking the back piece off and painting it properly.

I bought this item for my daughter to put on her small laptop. She loves it! She picked the paturn and design. We both were honestly not expecting it to look like the design she picked for it, but it was so perfect that she was like, OMG, mom it's so awesome I love it. It was so on point, couldn't really believe how perfect it was. So she cut out the size and shape of her laptop and then put it on and was so surprised on how incredibly easy it was to do. We recommend this for anyone else who likes to decorate things like your cellphones, tablets, iPads and laptops. it works great!!

Decal was shipped in a light shipping bag without support, was crumpled into the mailbox. Pics show how it was once I took it out of the bag. Folded and creased. That white border was part of the sticker so I’d have to cut it off to use decal. Image quality wasn't good; pixelated but I could see that it was “galaxy”. I attempted to apply it to the laptop and adhesion was excellent but because of the poor shipping and handling the thickness of vinyl held the creases and as a result damaged the item. The other similarly priced decals I’ve received have come in flat cardboard document sleeves.

Simple to install if you followed the instructions. But the image is blurry. Will it look good from a distance? Yes. In photos? Yes. But up close where you're using it? Meh, it depends on what you're standards are. For the price it's still a miss for me but I won't return it.

This skin was so easy to apply! I was even able to peel it and reapply it a few times! It looks incredible. This skin comes in a standard size and you cut the skin to fit your particular device. It's extremely easy to do! Great product!

I like it, when I first open it I was like whoa! Up close the image looks blurry and pixelated. But when you look at it afar it looks good, illusions to the eye. Easy to install, had to redo it 3 times (am very particular) has to crop some of the cover created zig zag at the corner because the way I cut it( i cut it on the laptop) didn’t trust myself to cut it off the laptop . Won’t be focusing on the sides so it’s fine. Over all I like it :3
