Aside from being portable and easy to use it does heat up after a certain time of using it. Other than that it is really fun to use and it takes good perspective photos.

Plenty of people complain that the image quality on certain phones or other cameras is better. That's true, but they're probably not 360 cameras. This camera isn't great because it offers the best possible image quality, it's great because it's super easy to use and has a ton of software and desktop editing support out of the box. If your goal is to record footage with the highest quality possible, and not use 360 features, you're better off with another camera. That having been said, for a 360 camera, this one is excellent, and perfect for a novice. A WARNING TO POTENTIAL BUYERS: They shipped it as a "signature required" item through FedEx, and it was a total pain getting as a result. I had to send it to a drop off location, and they didn't bother to check it in, so they had it for days and never notified me.

I dont want to post my personal photos but I am so tempted to show what this thing is capable of..... wow! I am just blown away. I purchased this to video myself while I do snowboarding -- so that I can watch and correct my form etc. I took footages of myself with this and the outcome is incredible! I have some content I could generate easily with this to share with friends and all are blown away and asking if I own a drone!! Its video quality is as if a drone is following me or around me while I snowboard and taking my video! I used its 360 mode, memode, etc. and it has simply impressed me! the selfie stick is removed from all footage and it stitches the picture so well! This is a must have for outdoor people. Going to a zoo, or to ski, or water activities, or even golfing.... you would love to have this!

I have been testing this camera for the last 3 weeks and it's awesome. Extremely good image stabilization as well as image quality. You will need to use their proprietary software to frame the footage that you wish to export, and then take all those export and bring them in a regular editing software and stich them together, plus music, text and others. Be prepare to have a learning curve on how to use and edit the footage. No need to point the camera as this camera films everything. I have it mounted on my Quad, motorcycles, and others. Be prepare to come back home with a lot of Gigabyte's. You will need to choose a high capacity memory card . IMPORTANT: You must buy a high speed memory card, otherwise the camera will complain. I bought high speed Chineese knock off, and the camera is complaining about the memory card being too slow. You are better oof staying with a bran name such as Sandisk.

Changing my review. Brand new camera and it's allready defect! And Insta360 customer support sucks the frakn bag! Thier now ignoring me and now I'm stuck with an 860$ paper weight and 150$ of useless accessories! Stay the Frak away from this horrible garbage!!!
