I ended up sending this back because it wasn't quite as nice as I wanted for my countertop display. It's an alright little jar, but certainly not worth $20.It has a simple, thin bamboo lid on an average-quality glass jar (not very heavy or sturdy feeling). From the pictures, it looked a bit nicer than this and I assumed from the price that it would be. The design in the glass is very pretty, but loses some of its appeal because of the average quality glass. I'd expect this jar in a Target or Walmart for about $10.I wound up getting something different with a heavier, thicker glass and a thick wooden lid made of teak.For a better price, this isn't a bad little jar -- it was just disappointing to me from the online pictures I looked at and the price tag.

We used this to store some Mexican chocolate we got from my tia when we visited LA. If you’re Mexican you probably understand family always trying to give you stuff. Anyhow we bought this to store the chocolate and we love it! It doesn’t fit as much as we’d like but it keeps enough that’s it’s handy!

I should’ve payed attention to the size. Much larger than I anticipated. Still pretty though!

It's a pretty storage canister for my counter top. I keep sprouted quinoa in mine. Though fluid ounces vs dry is different. I was able to fit 32 ounces (2 lbs) of sprouted quinoa in it, and I was hoping to fit one more pound. I wish it came in other sizes to have some variation in what I want to store in the open.

I’m really fussy about my living room decor, and I bought this as a stylish way to hold dog treats (so that guests can bribe our dog with food to win her affection) without looking out of place amongst my other trinkets. It’s made of thick glass that feels like it won’t break easily, and the treats have kept their crunch due to the airtight seal! It’s a great jar and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another one if the need arises.
