Very good watch
I have had this watch for a year and it is my everyday wear. I am very hard on watches. I picked up the crystal protectors to go with it and boy are they worth it. They do run a tiny bit slow so once a month you might need to reset by 5-7 min. I Keep mine 5min fast and check it once month. All good. It has some weight to it so you know you have a watch on. Also they have a ton of different bands to change the look.

Low cost high value
No one should come into the expectations that this is going to have the fit and finish of a +$400 watch from Seiko. However, This watch selectively chooses what it puts its best attributes into. The dial, crystal, lum and bezel are extremely well done well beyond its price point and even better than some higher price points. They achieve this by cutting corners on the case finishing in the areas that aren't obvious to the eye. Such as where the bracelet connects and the hidden underside of the case were it transitions into the side chamfer is abrupt in appearance but neither of which affect the comfort of wear. The bracelet is also a cost cutting factor the links are not tightly machined together and seem a little loose compared to a high quality bracelet as well as the finishing is not as refined but it did include the milled clasp. None of which are deal-breakers for what this watch is and no one should have unrealistic expectations for a $100 automatic. Overall, this is a great watch, especially for people that work in more harsh environments and don't want to scratch up or destroy their expensive automatic watches. The ceramic bezel and sapphire crystal are welcome features for a watch that's going to get beat up. I like the AR coating with the subtle blue tint. The lum is brighter initially than a Seiko lumabrite, but the lumabrite seems to have more endurance. This is a great workhorse automatic. The "Captain Steel"

A very surprising watch for the price.
I was very pleasantly surprised with the overall quality of the watch. Good weight and feels very durable.

Great for the price
This is the YouTube famous Steeldive captain Willard right here on Amazon. I got this for right at $100 and I do not recommend this watch at much more than that, I'd say pass if it is a penny higher than $125. Too many better options Now that out of the way this is a fine little spec monster. You already know if you like the seiko turtle 6105 or not and this is a good one in my opinion. I love the dial and hands on this particular steeldive. I'm not a big fan of the logo but it oddly enough disappears for me(there is a no logo version if you want but it was about $10 more at the time I purchased mine and my dislike for the logo did not overcome my desire to keep $10 haha) . The fit is great and should look excellent on almost all sized wrists. The bezel feels and sounds good, the full lumed insert looks great and will still look new for years because it is insanely hard to scratch ceramic, and it will not fade in the Sun like an aluminum bezel will. The 3 link oyster style full solid stainless bracelet has a slight taper down to a nice solid clasp the bracelet feels pretty good in your hand and on wrist. Both the case back and crown have engraved logos, along with a boxed sapphire crystal and it all feel substantial but not heavy at all. Now for the reality check! This watch has to cut so many corners to hit that crazy low price we are left with just a "good enough" piece. The main issues are the fit and finish is poor. The case has very sharp edges if you put your fingers on the bracelet where it meets the case and rub back and forth you can actually cut your thumb. The edges of some of the links on the bracelet are Sharp but you don't feel them on wrist only when you rub your fingers across the watch while in your hand. Other people have mentioned that the case back engraving is sharp enough to cut them I haven't had that experience but I certainly can feel it. Some of the bracelet links don't move fluidly at all times because the edges are Sharp so they don't play nice together but that's not really a massive deal it just contributes to the overall cheapness of the package. Now the main issue has to do with the ceramic bezel insert the 12:00 triangle isn't painted correctly because it doesn't line up with the 12:00 marker but it isn't a case of misalignment as all the other markings on the insert matches the dial, it's literally the triangle is painted toward the 11:00 position it's just a bezel insert that should have been rejected. Now for all the negatives I still recommend this wholeheartedly at $100 the alignment issue is noticeable but only if you know what you're looking for. The bracelet is pushpin instead of screw link to save money but that is completely acceptable the Seiko nh35 movement is very reliable and mine is accurate and keeps great time. The lume is very bright but doesn't last all that long. Great watch but don't over pay

Compares more than favorably to the same watch for ten times the price
I've collected watches since 1970 ... I have about 100. I am a Diver since 1970, a DiveMaster since 1988 and I did my deepest ever Technical Dive to 212FT in 2003. I owned the original of this watch when I was young as well as the 6127 Seiko 62MAS. This watch is a very nice homage to the original. I'll go thru the specifics that I always look at. It comes nicely packaged and protected in a hard plastic case. The crown ... this is often a disappointment on inexpensive watches. On this watch, it manipulates cleanly from screwed down, hand winding, hack/stop time set, date set. Smooth and precise. The bezel is ceramic and illuminated in blue. It clicks thru the positions very smoothly ... none of that gritty feeling. It also aligns perfectly, which is more than I can say for my genuine Seiko. On my Time Grapher, it averaged -3 sec/day. Seiko guarantees +/- 15 sec/day. There is a reason why this inexpensive watch with that same Seiko movement does so much better ... many of these Chinese companies hand regulate their watches before shipping. See final pic of another WatchDives (same company) on my Time Grapher. That WatchDives WD007 NTTD watch is an excellent watch also. The bracelet on this 1970 is very nice but I had mine on a rubber strap when I was young so I put a WatchDives waffle rubber strap on it. The lume is very impressive. Charged up along with one of my $1200 Seikos. it had the same bright green glow and three hours later (in a closet) the dials looked the same. The Seiko does NOT have an illuminated ceramic bezel to compare to but this bezel was still clearly visible after three hours. At ten times this price, and I have several Seikos in that price range, I'd say this was a good buy for that money. At this price, it is remarkable.

Fantastico orologio, contenuti e specifiche da orologio di fascia medio-alta. Blu soleil e ghiera blu è un ottimo abbinamento ma lo possiedo anche nella referenza con dial e ghiera neri. Compratelo!

Bought this watch on a recommendation from a friend who is real watch snob. I was a little leery, after all, what kind of automatic watch do you expect for $169 CDN, delivered to your door? I am not disappointed. It looks great, it keeps good time (lost only about 1 minute after a full week), and is really comfortable. I have a very small wrist, and this is a pretty big watch, but it still looks appropriate and hugs the contours of my wrist well. Good micro-adjust on the strap allows for some reasonably quick size adjustment. Comes with a cheap but functional tool to remove your own links for proper sizing. I’ve gotten tons of compliments from all kinds of people, even strangers. My friend has the black dial version, but the blue looks far classier (in my opinion). With its quality Japanese Seiko automatic movement, it’s way more watch than I bargained for, and I’m really contemplating another colour to round out my collection. I do have some other nice watches, including a swiss made Hamilton Khaki Field watch, so I do understand good watches. The photos here show the watch in natural sun outside, indoor pot lighting, and in darkness with the luminescent. Two thumbs up.
