Beurer HD150 XXL Nordic Heated Throw

My partner who feels the cold far more than i do, loved this when i got this for her. Saves having to put the heating quite so much, which in tow, means shes warm & im not left roasting whilst saving a few ££ in the long run. Blanket is also lovely and soft. 6 heat settings which is handy too.

First blanket stopped working after 3 days, as did its replacement. Where is the supposed German quality? This blanket features the same type of cheap flimsy heat control that even the cheapest blankets have, but even the cheapest no-name blankets I have previously bought have lasted 6 to 12 months minimum. Disgusted!

A Christmas present for my elderly mother who absolutely loves it. She declares she may not leave her sofa for the rest of the winter. Easy to control heating settings and heats quickly. Comfortable weight and very soft to the touch. A great purchase!

Beware don’t buy this product. Initially it heated up when tested but sat unused until cold weather came. Tested today and blanket not getting warm. 2 months old, unused and Amazon refusing to allow me to return it. Manufacturer website fails when trying to return/register a fault. Dreadful product & service. For the first time ever I’m really disappointed with an Amazon purchase. This brand was recommended to me by a friend but it clearly is faulty as there’s works well. As an electronic product I believe it is guaranteed for a year? Amazon is where I purchased the item and the manufacturer is not responding. This is a failure of my consumer rights. Steer well clear of this manufacturer is my recommendation and Amazon, I’m very disappointed in your responsibility or lack there of.

A little difficult to manage as bigger than thought and heavy

Excellent product, nice feel to it and keeps you warm and cosy. Needs to be on high setting to feel any heat but apart from that really pleased.

Was my favorite purchase of a lifetime because I’m always cold. It’s soft and a nice weight. But it suddenly stopped working after 2 months. I am returning it and getting a refund. Apparently the safety trigger may have been set off which may be why it wont work.

Third of these blankets to fail. I initially purchased one of these blankets in 2024 because I had been delighted with an earlier version of it, with a manual slide heat controller, which still works perfectly. This item has a digital remote. The first blanket failed in under a year, with light use. The manufacturer replaced it. The second blanket didn’t work at all. The next replacement worked for about 10 uses before failing. I am returning it and will not purchase another. I am not sure if I have been particularly unlucky, but it is odd that this newer version is less reliable than the other Beurer blanket we have which is used almost daily.
