The author does a great job delving into key trends new, old and new again! She captures the diverse people, brands, and key moments in New York fashion that define the city's style. Also worth noting, the author is a style icon in her own right and I've seen her featured in Vogue street style regularly and writes for all the major fashion magazines. A must have for the fashionista in your life, or those who want to become well versed in New York style and fashion.

I never knew so many fashion subcultures existed in NYC fashion history! This breaks it all down, and shows it all. The photos are fabulous.

Incredibly inspiring book covering a very broad range of topics across NYC fashion. Learned so many new things! Photos are great too.

I bought this book because I like the writer and her style. It’s an interesting little book, but the subjects covered aren’t that in depth. Great as an introduction, or as inspiration for further reading into the areas covered.

So cute and perfect for a nightstand.

Purchased this and the Paris Style book and both have multiple pictures like the ones I posted above... 9.59 and Amazon won't let me return this detective book...Not Happy Amazon!!!!
