Yummy flavor. Fun for holidays

Bought these for my nieces/nephews this summer for frozen lemonade/slushies/smoothies/milkshakes and they loved them - I used the left overs for my iced coffee and they’re great. Delicious, hold their structure for a decent amount of time, and super fun.

Straw are great for ice coffee and iced tea I would highly recommend them and they are a great straw for any cold drink that you can eat after finishing your drink.I found out about these straw when I was cruising and love the flavor and the idea of a edible straw

I was given a box of these from a local coffee shop that wasn't able to sell them. At first glance, the packaging is attractive and the concept is interesting. Upon opening the packaging, the straw is sturdy and thick... I could actually drink my drink with this! So I do! The taste from the straw stays on the straw and not in my drink, which can be a pro or con. But after awhile the straw begins to stick to my fingers if I grasp it and as I continue to drink, the resulting dissolution of the straw is more globular and mucosal-like, a rather revolting sensation that is only made worse by the sweet, vanilla flavor. As I make it to the end of my drink with the straw majorly intact (kudos!), I bite the bottom end of the straw. At first it is crunchy... a bit like vanilla-brittle, but that quickly gives way to a chewy, cornstarch-y texture that I am not a fan of. There are still remnants of crunch and I am not sure what I am tasting. The flavor is standard vanilla- not bad, but nothing to write home about. However, it is all drowned out by the stickiness on my fingers and the awful textures competing in my mouth. I know you don't HAVE to eat the straw and I do feel that this would hold up to use as a standard straw, but part of the allure is it being edible... a definition I feel is grossly exaggerated here. I feel I was generous with two stars because I do want to give credit to the functionality and practicality of this straw, but yeah... the texture ruined the entire experience.
