I’ve been using the Eureka Apollo for a year now, and I’m honestly impressed! I needed a vacuum that was lightweight and easy to maneuver around furniture—and this one ticks all the boxes. It’s compact but still feels sturdy, and I love that it doesn’t take up a ton of storage space. The suction power is way better than I expected for such a small machine. It picks up dust, pet hair, and crumbs like a champ, both on my rugs and hardwood floors. The 2.2L dust container is also a great size—I can clean multiple rooms without needing to empty it right away. Emptying the bin is super straightforward (no mess!), and not having to deal with vacuum bags is a huge plus. If you’re looking for a reliable, affordable vacuum that doesn’t weigh a ton or take up half your closet, I definitely recommend the Eureka Apollo!

I’ve previously used cordless Dyson and Bosch models, but honestly, they don’t even come close to this one. If you have carpets and pets, this vacuum is unbelievably powerful. It pulled out so much hidden dust and fur I didn’t even know was there. It also handles hard floors beautifully and cleans right up to the edges. Corded may seem old-school, but for a large living space, it’s essential,no worrying about batteries dying halfway through cleaning. The suction is consistently strong, and it’s lightweight and easy to move around. I’m genuinely amazed at how well it performs for this price. Don’t hesitate, highly recommended!

I bought my Apollo to use on quite a large area of woollen loop-pile carpet which is supposed to be vacuumed with suction only. It replaced a recently bought Miele C3 which had to be returned as faulty (dust collection issues). The Miele was also quite difficult to manoeuvre (both the vacuum head and the appliance itself). The Apollo is much cheaper than the Miele and is understandably not as solidly built. However, it is pleasure to use as it is so much lighter and more manoeuvrable (the large rear wheels seem to help with this). I can also see at a glance where the dust is going and whether the container needs emptying. I particularly like the dial control for the suction (rather than a series of pre-sets) as this can be tuned to exactly the right level for the job. Using only half of the available suction it cleans the carpets very thoroughly- and quietly too. I had previously bought a “Miele C1 C2 C3 Floor Head Brush Tool” (£12.99) and was pleased to find that it was a snug fit on the Apollo too. This head has a polished metal underside and it goes more smoothly over the carpet than the one supplied with the vac. I dismantled mine to remove the red velcro strips underneath and cut the brush ring right back to its frame. Probably not necessary for most people (and unlikely to be a good move for homes with pet hair etc.) but the head now glides effortlessly over the carpet, with nothing to catch on the loop pile. So far, it's difficult to fault the Apollo. But there are a few minor issues I've found: The instructions are scant and not very accurate. Fortunately it is intuitive. There is no clear information about the supposed 2 year warranty or any obvious official source of filters etc. There are many generic ones available, including on Amazon. I imagine they will be fine. As another review has already mentioned, carrying the vac by the front handle (attached to the canister) puts the whole weight of the machine on the plastic lugs joining the canister to the main body and stresses the airtight filter seal between those two components. Using the rear handle instead when carrying the vac around keeps the appliance horizontal and avoids weight/stress where it might cause damage. I prefer to keep it horizontal as much as possible as the cyclone does its job of separating the dust/fluff and I don't really want to tip it all backwards towards where the filters are. I think there is a bit of a design flaw in having the primary filter exposed on the side of the canister when it is taken off for emptying. It would be very easy to spill dust and grit onto what should be the clean side of the filter – which wouldn't be good news for the motor when it is sucked through. There are fairly stiff rubber seals around the canister lid and at the point where the canister attaches to the front of the vac. I think these could let air in (and reduce suction) if dust builds up on them. Likewise, the junction between the telescopic tube and the plastic handle looks a weak spot for dust build up and air ingress. Overall I think it's a really fine little vac but it might need a bit more care and attention (to keep it running well) than some of the more expensive models. I'm happy to do that as it is such an easy and effective vac to use. I would just also say that I bought mine from Amazon Warehouse used “Like New”. The vac was immaculate and I couldn't see any sign that it had ever been used before. I think each warehouse item is unique, and maybe I was lucky, but I was very pleased with the transaction as it saved me months of waiting for new stock.

This is a fantastic little hoover, He looks very cute (we named his henry). The hoover has fantastic suck power, We currently have a wireless hoover at my house, however henry might have to replace it because he has a much better ability to suck up debris. The hoover is light and is extremely easy to carry about, there is no hassle when lifting it even when full. My favourite part of the hoover is it looks extremely cute, and it's quite small and nimble and easy to store. Putting the parts together of the hoover is fairly simple and quick to do, it doesn't take very long to get it up and running. I would recommend getting this hoover if you're looking for one with high suction and good looking.

I usually use a battery powered vaccum and haven't had a mains plug in vaccum for years, i usually find them far too heavy but this is small compact and pretty powerful for such a reasonable price. Its variable suction means it can be used on different surfaces, including sofas and other furniture. My favourite feature is that the plug and lead are retractable at the push of a button, which means now winding the cord once you've finished. It is easy to empty and the filter is washable to make cleaning easy. It also comes with a replacement filter so I tend to swap them over when one needs a wash. I found that the vaccum did a really good job of picking up hair which often gets left behind with other vaccums. Overall, I really can't fault this affordable and compact vaccum.

Very poor suction for such an expensive vacuum cleaner. The black hose does not attach very well to the metal one and keeps on coming out while vacuuming. Very bad price quality rating. £30 one was better than this one.

Amazing suction - just too powerful for rugs! Pick up speed excellent. Quality really good for the price. Unfortunately, we only have hard floors with rugs in each room. Without exception, the vacuum starts to swallow up each rug! We have tried it for two days on the lowest possible setting and with hose "open", but still too strong for rugs. Unfortunately, we will have to return. However, if you just have carpets, works great.

Compré la semana pasada esta aspiradora (Eureka WhirlWind) y la he probado a fondo durante estos días (terminé obras en casa hace poco y había mucho por limpiar). Una vez sacas todo de la caja, sorprende lo sencillo y rápido de su montaje, es superpráctica y cómoda. Sin accesorios extras que solo hacen que ocupar espacio y no se usan nunca. Trae la típica boquilla ancha para el suelo, que desliza facilmente en el suelo y es muy manejable, tiene dos posiciones, una para suelos duros y otro para alfombras. Al quitar la boquilla ancha y el alargador de acero, en el propio mango lleva incorporado un pequeño cepillo para aspirar zonas mas estrechas y dificiles, como pueden ser los huecos del sofá, railes de ventanas, los escalones del rodapiés... En el mango tiene para configurar 3 modos diferentes, suelo duro, tapicería o alfombra. Todo en este aspirador se siente robusto, los accesorios encajan perfectamente a presión y todo está pensado para que sea lo más sencillo y práctico posible, o esa es la impresión que me ha dado. De tamaño es perfecto para poder moverte por la casa sin que moleste al usarla y es bastante ligera, a pesar de esto, tiene mucha potencia de aspirado y es más que suficiente para la suciedad que pueda encontrarse en una casa. El cable de alimentación es larguísimo y te permite llegar lejos sin tener que estar cambiando de enchufe todo el rato. Muy cómoda en todos los sentidos. Otra cosa que me ha sorprendido es la facilidad para vaciar el depósito de polvo, mi anterior aspiradora era de bolsa y era un engorro cada vez que tenía que vaciarla. Con esta aspiradora simplemente es sacar el depósito de la propia aspiradora pulsando un botón y con otro abres la parte de debajo del depósito que deja caer todo el contenido de forma fácil y sin tener que hacer nada más (muy práctico). La limpieza de los filtros es muy sencilla también y son lavables en agua. En resumen, me ha sorprendido bastante y estoy contentísimo con la compra, lo práctico, cómodo y sencillo que es usarla y lo bien que funciona, recomendaría su compra sin dudar.
