I was a bit skeptical of this device, but it actually works pretty well. I went looking for an alternative nail trimmer after the second time I thought I had it handled with a conventional trimmer and managed to nick my baby's finger. There is no risk of that with this one, no matter how they flail, and the actual trimming is so effortless I thought it wasn't doing anything until I pulled the baby's finger back and saw that the nail was shorter. My only complaint is that I wish the charging was standard USB-C, rather than a barrel plug that needs a USB-A source. I always worry about losing custom charging cables. But overall this is a major load off my mind on a task I never even thought about until after the kid was born.

Unless my kid's nails are crazy long this does nothing. It doesn't cut close enough either. Expensive for the mediocre results. He can't do it himself either and it takes 3x as long vs regular clippers which defeats the purpose for a toddler who is squirmy. Also quite loud. It's hard to get the nail just right into the slot. Good idea but disappointed in the product.
