I joined a health club that offered full body red light therapy. I was very leary. I started doing 10 min every day, sometimes doing it twice a day. My skin started looking pretty good. After a lot of research, I had high hopes for this device. But after 5 months of dedicated usage, I show no results. I actually have less hair now.

Hands down to the customer service (especially the representative named ISIS) for helping me resolve the issue. Initially, the cap didn’t work despite several attempts, but after they contacted me, helped troubleshoot, and sent a new battery and charger, things improved. The replacements arrived quickly, and now it works perfectly with the new battery. Issues like these can happen, but I'm hopeful this solution helps me maintain my hair post hair transplant.

Jury is still out on whether this works, I have only had it a week. However, the hat is NOT one size fits all and it is not adjustable. On my head, it fits somewhat like a Jewish man’s yarmulke. I can cover my crown or my forehead but not both simultaneously. Consider the coverage and the areas you hope to address.

I’m having some incredible results! I noticed no more hair shedding in the first week of using it. I was shedding very badly before, enough to clog the shower drain. I first saw the Capillus hat in a Hammacher Schlemmer catalogue I was intrigued, but had no interest in spending something like $1500 on what might be a useless gadget. Still interested, I did some research (ie.: I googled it), and learned, first, that it had FDA approval, and second, that Amazon carries the identical product— for less than a third the price. My wife and I have been using it since, and while there seemed to be no change for the first six or seven weeks, I am now seeing less hair in the drain after showering, which is a definite win. Recommended.

The item was defective and did not turn on. I followed the instruction down to a tee, and it would not turn on. It cost me a bundle of money: aside from the pricey item, i had to pay customs import fees when it entered my country, then courier fees to return the item, and then hours of overseas calls to amazon customer service to get a refund. This effing device sucks and not worth the money and stress i had to go through. The total cost to this over all horrible experience far exceeds $500! Not worth it!
