Works good as new
Found my iphone from high school after doing some spring cleaning, wouldn't turn on so I ordered the screen and got the next day. Took me a good minute to install. Lost some screws and was struggling on the speaker/front camera/IR sensor you have to take off your old screen and put on new screen. Can be done with the screwdriver and wedge tools included in the box but I wouldn't reuse. If this ends up being a hobby or side gig, then get a magnetic screwdriver or screen repair kit with quality tools and mat. Unfortunately the phone was locked out kept getting error code on itunes to restore and I never backed up my photos 😭. But was able to factory reset and set up as new. Cheap parts and get the job done. I have galaxy s22 ultra now its crazy how good phone screen resolutions are compared to 6-7 years ago. Just have to replace the battery doesn't last very long. looks much easier than screen replacement and would buy from the vendor again.

works great, wish installation video didn't have unnecessary steps
Product works great. I was able to install it but just two problems with installation video. It asks to remove the adhesive substance from the edge. This is only required if we have new adhesive material to install. The package only has screen and tools. So this step is not required and should be removed from the video. Removing existing adhesive is bad if you are not going to replace it with. Another silly thing, I put the plate but forgot to put the connection underneath it. Video should have emphasis this point. As a result my first attempt failed. Second attempt worked but I have to take everything apart and put connection under plate. Overall great product.

Good, but will probably pay to have this done in the future.
Everything worked well except for the following: - when it came time to connect the 3 ribbons towards the very end, I found them very difficult to align. Almost as if they were assembled incorrectly. This is the last thing you want to see, as you’ve probably spent a good hour or two fussing with this dang thing. Eventually I found the exact way that they needed to be folded/arranged/aligned so that they fit. The directions make no mention of this, yet it is a critical step in proper assembly. - when fitting the screen to the phone back (very last step), the bottom edge of the screen (near home button) would not press down into the phone back. It sticks up a few mm from the metal back, prohibiting a good seal and not allowing the pentalobe screws to be inserted. See picture. To me, it looks like the home button bracket is interfering with other components in the phone back. I was unable to resolve this issue, and eventually called it quits and will just live with it. If I get a few more months out of the phone it’ll probably still be worth it. Edit: contacted customer service via email and they were very willing to help. They gave several suggestions to resolve my issues, however unfortunately none of them proved effective. Because of this, they did everything they could to “make it right” for me. Updating review to 5 stars.

A complete mess of a screen
I got this screen a few days ago. Not even 24 hours into having it I was already having defects. But first I want to talk about the installation. I gave it a one star because whoever put this screen together wasn’t paying attention. I’ve replaced screens multiple times myself and I was have a lot of trouble installing just to realize the problem was that the replacement screen’s back light was NOT flush to the part it needed to be for me to transfer the metal plate. So I had to put that up and move it to the correct position. I should NOT have to fix the part that a seller gives me on top of the phone itself. 6 hours in I had a couple of times after I send a text that the screen doesn’t respond and I had to lock and unlock my phone to have it work correctly. When I make calls for some reason unless I’m covering the camera/sensor on top of my phone with my hand I can not use the touch screen. After having this screen for 5 days I can confirm that even though it works for the most part, this has been the worst screen replacement I’ve purchased because of how buggy and defective it is. The only reason why I can’t return this is because only have of my old screen works so I have to use this until I can buy a better one.

It's fine
Nothing special but it works. Build quality is average. Expected a bit more for what I paid but it's functional. That said.

Great Replacement and Super Easy at a Fraction of the Price
The kit comes with all you need to replace your old phone screen with the brand new phone screen provided and some extras such as the sim remover tool, pop socket thingy, and a screen protector to protect your new phone screen. The suction cup wasn’t strong enough to pull the phone screen, so I ended up using the pop socket thingy and it’s adhesive patch instead and that worked fine. I was able to reuse the pop socket thingy afterwards as well. I watched a video on YouTube by Jerryrigeverything and was able to replace the phone screen for the first time within half an hour. Something to note, however, is that the ribbons came in overlapping wrong, once you recognize that and place the second longest one in between the shortest one and longest one, they all snap in easily like legos. Very satisfied with the finished product and would definitely recommend doing this over paying $99-$150 to get someone else to do it for you. Update: A few months have now passed by and it was great until I fell right on top of my phon and cracked he screen once more. I ordered the same kit, and it did end up being defective unfortunately. However, the customer service was great and gave me a full refund for the product to buy it again and keep the old one. Not only will you get a good product, but the customer servicd is great and will look after you. I have now replaced my phone screen twice and it is still cheaper than going to Apple.

Decent enough
Screen did not come with a replacement waterproofing gasket. Decent quality, though there seems to be some weird glare or burn in when viewed at an angle, not noticeable looking at it forward.

Works as intended, provided you understand how to install correctly
I've been repairing student/faculty phones for the college I work at for many years now. I've quickly learned how to easily and effortlessly install these aftermarket screens into the proper iPhone. Generally speaking, it's a quick and painless installation. The product works as intended* and my clients are happy with the low cost to get their phone back up and running. The biggest comment I get is that "it looks like new." Which is great to hear. So my overall review is that this screen works and did what I needed it to do. Which was to replace a completely busted screen. Please note that you get what you pay for! So in some cases, the screen may not work properly on delivery or could break shortly after installation. It's just the nature of the beast, more on this below. Also, don't be fooled by more expensive replacement screens and the "higher reviews." There are tricky sellers out there that will get a high ranking item and then swap out the details to try and sell a lower valued item with a "higher review rating." Be aware of this, check the reviews (sorted by most recent), and do your homework before wasting money on a "better reviewed" item. * Occasionally, these replacement screens will come in with defects. It's become a best practice of mine to ensure that the screen works properly (lights up, reacts to touch, LCD works correctly) before fully installing the screen. Once I've verified that the screen is working correctly, THEN I'll install it into the phone. Here are a list of things to be aware of. • Digitizer may not work or stops working a few weeks after installation • Light bar may not work or stops working a few weeks after installation • LCD works upon delivery, in very rare cases, I've had reports of the LCD breaking down a few weeks after installation. This problem is only about 1-3% of the time. • Replacement works properly during the installation check and then stops working all together, once it's been fully replaced and installed. In cases such as this, I've noticed that the ribbon connectors may be the problem and it's best to completely remove the ribbon connections and try to reinstall them. If the ribbons don't make a complete connection, the LCD may not show up.
