You can tell this bench was manufactured with attention to detail. Not only is the stitching good quality, the seat surface material is heavy duty, not like those cheap thin vinyl ones that wrinkles when you seat on it, the cushions are thick yet comfortable, and the entire bench is sturdy, there's zero wobble to it even with the seatback in the full flat position. Speaking of the seat back, it's wide enough to accommodate us big fellas. Lengthwise, the bench should fit guys over 6 ft tall (although I'm not taller than that, but it looks like it should). Assembly was a breeze, just have to attach five screws, that's it. The tools they give you, including the screws, are all heavy duty. The package with the screws even has a ruler on it (because two screws are longer than the other three, as if you couldn't tell by looking at them, but like I said, good attention to detail by the manufacturer). The notches where the seatback rests on the different positions are curved out of the base, so they won't snap under a lot of weight -- if you're heavy-lifting do not buy a bench that has the adjustment notches welded onto the base, that's just an accident waiting to happen, the welding might give in and the notches will snap. I also like that it has wheels on one end, it's lightweight enough to move around. The only thing I wish they had added to this bench is a padded foot rest to add resistance when laying flat with weights, but I saw someone devised a clever workaround on another review, which is simple enough and I'm going to try it (basically, attaching a padded foot rest where the curve of the handle is under the front seat. Overall, this is great value for money and was definitely made for heavy lifting. It looks like it should last a long time.

Solution I was looking for years! I have done a lot of research and shopping on folding workout/weightlifting benches and there always seemed to be issues on sizing (proper length), strength for any heavier weights, balance, safe and secure latching that won't cause an accident, quality cushion and covering, number of positions (especially decline) along with storage and ease of setup functionality. This bench has it all in spades - even a built in carry handle I have not seen in any others! Really like the threaded latching knobs for safety of holding its position with weight. Has twist feet for balancing uneven floors or any slight construction warping. Nice cushioning and width of materials. I'm 5'10", long time weight lifter and it fits me very well. Great position variations and love the fold-up storage ability with CARRY HANDLE! Quality product. Seat is fairly long if that is an issue for anyone.

This is absolutely a great bench. At time or purchase it is $239 and I was able to apply their $50 coupon that day, however I would purchase this again at full price. Build quality is commercial-grade, heavy duty and well designed. Came packed perfectly, everything was wrapped and there no scratches or damage. Comes mostly assembled and you just have 5 bolts to finish it up. Having gone to many gyms and owned several benches, this is by far the best I have purchased and compares to a commercial gym quality bench. Pad is very thick and dense which I prefer on a bench, its not squishy like cheap benches. The steel is premium and welds are tight. Its not a negative, but there is a gap between the seat and back pad which is normal. Just know it is not a zero-gap bench. This beats Titan for the price range, still wins over REP for quality to price, and totally ahead of Rogue due to price and value.

Everything was present; easy to assemble (took maybe 15 minutes); high quality fastening bolts. Quality overall: excellent; Fit and finish: excellent; Sturdiness: excellent. It stands firm and motionless w/o rocking. The adjustable angle locking pins work excellently; Padding is a bit firm but is comfortable: good to very good. The black plastic foot caps (rubber-like floor protectors at end of each foot/leg) appear a bit "thin". I hope they hold up. It's relatively easy to fold, takes maybe 30 seconds. OVERALL IMPRESSION: 9 out of 10.

I looked up many similar items and at the end I chose this one and hoped it will be meeting my expectations in usability, quality and durability. After using it for about a week I am happy to say that it does meet or even exceed my original expectations. I did sacrifice some my requirement in functionalities so I can find a great built item within the price range. I feel great that my strategy worked and this one is indeed a high quality product for a starter like my self. It supports my daily exercises so I dont have to go to a gym but rather in my family room where I can be accompanied by background music or even watching news at the same time. Great material for the framework. There might be a little bit concern about how long the cushion pad will last but for this price it is absolutely reasonable. Overall I am very happy to this purchase decision. It motivates me everyday in the morning for a quick daily routine without much additional effort such as driving or walking to somewhere.

What a great weight bench! I looked at all the options on Amazon and this one got great reviews and had a good price. It was easy to assemble and is very sturdy and constructed well. The padding is nice and comfortable. Easy to move around, looks good in my home gym. Highly recommend!

The Joroto weight bench is very solid and comparable to a commercial-grade bench. But I do want to address some of the issues that I've read in the reviews. 1) Some people complain about tilting when the backrest is straight up, due to a slightly shorter footer base width. I have it on concrete and haven't had any tilting issues, but I don't have it on carpet, so I can't give any input on that, but on concrete it's very solid. 2) Some people complain that it doesn't have a foot cushion for situps, Lol, well you have different types of benches designed for different types of exercises and this is a weight bench with a tapered-in seat and while the seat is angled up it positions comfortably between your knees allowing your feet to stay on the ground. It's designed for doing exercises with weights and cables, like seated dumbbell press, cable skull crushers, etc., not situps. For doing situps, you'll want a bench with a flared-out seat with extra padding at the knees where your legs can rest over the seat and your feet under the foot cushion. Joroto has another bench model for this. Another thing I noticed that makes this bench solid is that Joroto has designed the center column bolts outside diameter (OD) to fit very tight to the inside diameter (ID) on the main column. A tight fit can help prevent movement or wobbling. I've purchased a half-dozen benches here on Amazon and the Joroto weight bench is by far the better option. I highly recommend this Joroto weight bench.

I am a former commercial gym owner in NYC. I bought this bench for my home gym. I have been looking for a quality reasonably priced bench for a while. I kept coming back to this Joroto bench. It’s very well made and easy to assemble (5 bolts). I purposely included photos of how well the bench was packaged. Padding intact, no scratches on the frame and all parts and tools to assemble the bench, including gloves, included in the box. What made me to finally pulled the trigger on purchasing this bench was the $50 dollar discount coupon! This bench is well worth $200 “all in” including delivery. From all the other residential benches I looked at on Amazon this Joroto bench is hard to beat. Padding is excellent. A little firm but fine. The welding on the bench is well done and clean looking. The caps on the feet, handle covering and wheels are all top notch.
