Really pleased with this knife. The blade feels sharp and solid out of the box and it handles everything in the kitchen really smoothly. I’ve used it on vegetables and meat and it’s easy to keep control of it when chopping or slicing. The balance and weight feel good in the hand, so prep sessions feel comfortable rather than tiring. It also seems to be holding its edge well so far, which is exactly what you want from a go-to knife. If you cook regularly and want a reliable chef knife that feels quality without costing silly money, this one is a solid choice.
