Excellent quality, modern styling: highly recommend Eisco wood racks!
Like other reviewers I use this rack to hold my inked fountain pens and it's excellent for that. The wood & the finish are both good quality & attractive and this rack, like the other Eisco products I've purchased, is well-constructed & sturdy. It's an excellent value-for-money purchase for holding test tubes or any slender objects you use or collect (pens, razors, pencils, art brushes, test tubes of spices, & so on). This would be my go-to wooden rack if not for the other style of wood test tube racks made by Eisco & sold by Amazon ("Eisco Labs Premium Wooden Test Tube Rack, (6) 22mm Holes" & "Eisco Labs Premium Wooden Test Tube Rack, (12) 22mm Holes") which are a bit more vintage-looking with attractively lathed & shaped end pieces. This rack is a good-looking piece but has cleaner, more modern, simple design lines & I prefer a more vintage-looking holder for my pens. As with everything, it all comes down to the style you prefer. ;)

Way better than plastic.
This a great little test tube rack. As mentioned in other reviews it's a little wobbly but not very much. It's built with dove tails which are pretty tight for this type of product and if you want you can easily take it apart so you can glue it and screw it. This rack is way better than the awful plastic racks that come with some of the test tube packages.

Classy wooden Test Tube Rack is Perfect
Eisco Labs Wood Test Tube Rack, 12 Tube Capacity, 7/8" (22mm) Holes I ordered this test tube rack for my business, which is alpaca ranching. How could this be used for that business, you may ask? Well, we have to do some herd health tests routinely, and this is called fecals. Yes, you may guess what that is at this point. I needed something sturdy to hold the test tubes in because I have to let the fecals stay in the test tubes overnight. This test tube rack is sturdy, has the rounded groove at the bottom so the test tubes are "cupped" and don't wobble around much. I ordered tall test tubes, and I would order shorter test tubes next time, but this rack can hold either size nicely.

Attractive, using it for art/clay tools
I use this on my desk for my polymer clay instruments. The shallow concave cups at the bottom aren't as secure as I'd like but this is not what this is made for and it is overall sturdy, well made, attractive and fits a LOT

I had to make some adjustments with velcro and glue, but works nicely now.
I do like this test tube rack a lot, and use it to hold paint brushes, each in their own test tube. However, the plastic tubes I bought were slipping out of the little indentations on the bottom when I replaced the brushes after using them. I had to put a strip of Velcro over the bottom and then put a piece of Velcro on the bottom of each test tube. I also use one rack to hold scroll saw blades and I did the velcro thing on that too. Also, I had to glue both holders to the sides of the rack. They kept slipping out. Things work fine now. Heads up Eisco Labs-make those bottom dents deeper, and a little glue wouldn't hurt on the rack either.

No Depth to the Indentations That Hold the Bottles
While the rack itself is sturdy and does the job of holding tubes, the indentations at the bottom are not deep enough to provide any stability for the test tubes. Any small bump to the rack and the test tubes slide out from the bottom.

Rack is fine. It does what it is suppose to do
Rack is fine. It does what it is suppose to do. On a side note, I bought 16mm x 150mm test tubes for this stand. I should have bought wider test tubes because the 16mm ones move around a lot and knock over the others in this stand and it annoys my super OCD self. Just putting that info out there for people like me.

Great pen holder
I bought this to hold my fountain pens, for which it works perfectly, looks good, and costs considerably less than stands made for that purpose. One caveat: unless you own some unusually fat pens, get the smallest of the three sizes.

Molto carino ma non bene incollato. Misure corrette e ben disegnato per non far scivolare le mie provette in vetro.

Does was it suppose to do. Ended up not needing it, but. Quality is sound and looks good.

Some dice sets come in plastic tubes, I wanted to get a display for my husband's dice for his birthday, and unfortunately the holes are too small. However he did have fun finding another use for it, so not a complete waste. Though I'm not sure if letting me use it for my white board markers is fair.

This item arrived almost a month after I ordered it. The packing slip sleeve had been opened, the outer box looked like it had been rifled, the inner box was opened. None of this was a manufacturers fault but the joinery was loose and wiggly and there were scuff marks on the wood. It's too much of a pain to return it but I really wish I hadn't ordered it.
