This is a miracle for a solo parent who can't lug a seat and/or a child around
I cannot recommend this cart enough! I used it for the first time this week and have been raving about it to family and friends with kids. I researched so many options for traveling alone with a toddler. I ended up getting this cart and the Birdee travel bag for gate checking. Worked like a dream. I practiced securing the car seat (Safety First Grow and Go- it's big and heavy) to the cart a couple times at home, but it is truly foolproof. A strap with a plastic zip thing goes thru the seatbelt path and clicks easily. Just as easy to undo. My toddler loved zooming around the house as I got used to how it handles. On our return trip my child was asleep in the car when we got dropped off. I unbuckled the car seat and secured it on this cart without waking him up. Security let me leave it on the seat both times. When I arrived at each departure gate, I unhooked the cart, folded it up, and clipped it INSIDE the car seat using the chest buckle. Then I put the whole thing inside a gate check travel bag (see my review on the Birdee bag, it did an amazing job too). After, I even took out the cart and tried putting the bagged seat on it by clipping the bag straps with a carabiner. It totally worked, which would be good going gate to gate. But my child decided walking wasn't fun after a couple minutes, so I unbagged the seat and clipped it directly to the cart and we were off. This is one of the best products for traveling alone with a child. I didn't know if it was worth the price, trust me- it is. I plan to use it for years, since my child will be in some form of car seat that long. This was such a good find.

Best product EVER!
I gave this product five stars because it made getting through the airport a breeze! I absolutely loved it! I was so worried traveling alone with my two year old this year. It was the first time I had to take a car seat for him on the plane, so I was SO worried about juggling luggage, a stroller, my carry-on and his backpack. With this, there is NO need for a stroller. I just put his Cosco Scenera on it, strung the the strap through the back, and tightened it. I could do it one handed! Then just pulled him in with his back pack hung on the back, mine on my back, and checked my bag. We had SO many people coming up asking where I got it and amazed! I thought it was pricey at first, but totally worth it! I was worried about some of the reviews saying the handle felt flimsy, but I felt it was very secure with my 28 lb son riding on it. With the bigger plane, it snugly fit down the aisle, but I did knock into some people. It is SUPER light though, just a bit bulky so it isnt impossible to carry your child on your hip and seat in the other. Or you could do how I did and put the seat in the front seat of the plane, put your child in your seat on the plane and run up to grab it real quick. I did have to take it apart to securely put the car seat on his seat, but I could easily reattach it while we were still on the plane. No problem! It fits under the seat, too, which is awesome since I can get it together quicker without waiting for everyone so I can get it from the overhead compartment. Oh, and I did have to have it hand checked with TSA, since it wouldnt go through the machine...which took a few more minutes than I would like, but that time would have probably been spent folding and unfolding a stroller anyway. Overall, I would recommend this to any parent flying alone with their child! It's simply wonderful!

Good first impression
I love the idea of not needing to bring a stroller on vacation and having a way to easily transport the car seat. I think the travelmate is the perfect solution to that. I just had the travelmate delivered and have not used it in the airport yet but here are my first impressions and I will update after we are home from our trip. The constitution feels both durable and lightweight. It folds and unfolds easily. It was easy to attach the car seat though I did have to fiddle with it a bit to get the right fit a length for the strap. For my specific car seat the plastic starts to bow just a little if the travelmate is ratcheted as tight as it will go. So I only ratchet it until it is snug. Even when ratcheted as tight as possible the top of the seat did not feel secure. To solve that issue I threaded the top anchor strap over the top bar of the travel mate and under the ratchet bar and clipped it to one of the bottom bars between the wheels. I don’t think this is an intended way of installation but the seat now feels much more secure. Another thing to note is that the ratchet bar does slide up and down a few inches to accommodate for different height seat belt holes in the car seat. At first it was unclear to me if that was purposeful so I email the company and they quickly responded that it is intended to slide.

A must-have for traveling with toddlers!
The Go-Gos Babyz Mini was a God send when traveling thru multiple airports alone with a 2 yr old. Its light weight and compact on its own; very easy to strap on car seat; and rolls with such ease once car seat is attached, even with my child strapped in. I got many compliments/stares of amazement of how ingenious this is.... As for durability... For a round trip with stops coming and going, to and from rental cars, to and from hotels on shuttles, elevators, etc.. it held up well. The plastic shield over one of the wheels has a white "strained plastic" mark (hope you understand what I mean bc I don't know another way to describe it). Im not sure how it happened, but i think it's when it got caught on the edge of an elevator. And bc I was rushing I just yanked it instead of taking my time to lift it over the door edge.... I was nervous that it would fall apart before my trip even began since its so lightweight it feels basically flimsy and breakable. But it did well. Definitely a good investment
