These tumbled stones are natural and very beautiful, each is a unique treasure of its own and the glossy, smoothed surface is gorgeous and feels nice in hand. The painting of the runes is decent, fully filled in and with only a few stray bits of color or gouges that weren't needed. Several of the stones are carved on a face which can't sit upright, which is a little annoying, but my real complaint is the total lack of anything like uniformity in sizes. Some variability is to be expected, but these range from quite large to very tiny, and that does make it harder to select them randomly. As a set, they are beautiful and I don't regret choosing them at all, but they would have been better if the sizes were even a little bit closer to matching, instead of all over the place.

For the price, these rune stones are ok quality, but not perfect. One of the stones was barely carved at all & I wouldnt call it a rune. The others where all carved well, but the paint job is a bit sloppy with some. All the runes are filled with the gold color well, but you can see where they just washed them off & bits of the gold paint dried on the flat surface.That being said, the stones themself are quite beautiful & with some cleanup you can easily use these for their intended purpose.
