Outstanding quality in terms of build and audio
I have nothing bad to say about these IEMs. I've had many pairs of IEMs over the past 15 years, but nothing that even comes remotely close to these, both in terms of build and audio quality. The sub bass is a true bassheads delight, not overpowering at all, but it's there and there's no lack of it. Some have complained that the mid bass is somewhat muddy and ever-present, but I'm using a BTR7 with built-in EQ and I'm able to tailor the sound specifically to my taste. I don't have the mid-bass issue that others have talked about. Mids and highs are equally as good, even at ear bleed volumes, and they don't scream out at you as some other IEMs that I've used. No sibilance issues and although they are not studio monitors, they weren't really meant to be either. There is coloration of course, by design, and it works well for me. I can't imagine cranking these things up to the BTR7's capability, as you'd probably blow your eardrums long before you perceive any distortion. They are extremely efficient and require very little power to drive them. I'm using the 4.4 mm connector on the BTR 7, so again, very little power required to drive these things. With the amount of headroom that you have on a DAC, you have phenomenal clarity right through it the entire range. I'm using the bass filters and the foam tips and I get a pretty good seal with more than ample bass! Unlike most Bluetooth earbuds, they are not noise canceling other than the passive noise cancellation you obtain with a good fit and seal. These will definitely not ward off a jet engine if you're sitting on the wing, nowhere near as effective as a good Bluetooth earbud but, that's the only trade-off. There is no comparison to any Bluetooth earbud, Bose and Sony included. I have both of the latest and greatest in both brands, and they basically just sit on the shelf now, or I may use them for my TV, but now that I've been using these FH9's, I don't think I'll be going back to a Bluetooth earbud for everyday listening, anytime soon. If you're on the fence about these, just buy them. I can't imagine anybody being disappointed in either the audio or build quality. They're somewhat on the heavier side, which is a big plus for me, because they feel extremely balanced in my ears, and that little bit of extra weight when I take them out of the case, just assures me of the build quality. The cable seems like it belongs in a $2,000 pair of IEMs as well. This setup is not only great bang for the buck, but it's probably great bang for three times that buck. I've used some IEMs at double and triple the price, and they just don't sound like these. At this point I wouldn't even think of anything else. Oh yeah, one more thing, all my listening has been done through YouTube music streaming via Bluetooth to my BTR 7. I have not yet signed up for Tidal, or any of the other lossless music services. I could only imagine how much better they would be. But even on Bluetooth from my phone, these things are insane.

Outstanding. In every way.
First of all, as I've come to expect from a Fiio product, the build quality is superb. All metal, solid, heavy, just excellent. Even the cable seems pretty solid. Okay, sound: these excel in all three arenas, bass, mids, and treble. Treble is clear but not piercing. Mids are crystal clear, like listening to someone speaking into your ear. Bass is where I was most impressed, because these are punchy and booming in the bass department without it distorting or overwhelming the mids. Like, the bass is somehow both very prominent and yet perfectly separated from the mids. Frankly it's the best bass I've heard in an IEM. Imaging is excellent: each instrument is very clear and distinct, without overlapping. Soundstage is about as good as you can get in an IEM, which is to say, lacking compared to a big pair of open back over ears, but pretty good nonetheless. These also fit my ears quite nicely and they're comfortable after a long listening session for what it's worth, but everyone's ears are different. I tried these with a Fiio BTR7 as well as with my Chord Mojo, and let me tell you, for IEMs, these puppies like a little gain. They sound perfectly fine on a low gain amp, but give them some juice and they really open up. Just a word of advice! Tl;dr: These are excellent IEMs. I'd say in the $200-300 range they're among the best, if not the best, and I've owned a lot of IEMs in that price range. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

Awesome Sound!
Truly an amazing set of iem’s. Set them up for bass and thump away. So many ear tips and a great carrying case. I paired mine with the FiiO BTR7 which I can't recommend enough. Can't beat these at the price point; they punch way above their weight class! Do yourself a favor and hit that buy it now button ;)

Works Great When It Works
I've had these IEMs for four months and the first 3.9 months were quite good. The presentation of the IEMs is superb as shown in the box above with a large number of different tips including terminology with the tips that allow you to accentuate bass, or balance the tuning while providing three sizes to accommodate different ear anatomy. They also come with three tips that augments different parts of the sound spectrum. I used the balanced and treble tips but didn't notice a huge difference. The treble were a bit more harsh in the upper frequencies for me so I went back to the balanced tips. I use this mostly at work with a Dragonfly Cobalt DAC and a Z Fold 6 using Amazon Music's streaming tracks. I have a Focal Elegia also at work and I'd say these IEMs are broader in the soundstage with a more forward bass presentation compared to the Elegia. So far so good. The issue occurred almost 4 months from the purchase. Over a period of 2 days, I had decreased sound from the left IEM. When I switched the IEMs to make sure this wasn't due to the cord, which is nice braided monocrystalline copper cord with silver-plating. now the right IEM didn't work. And I'm still having issues with FiiO customer service having failed getting Amazon whom I bought this from, to take this back. Time to try the Moondrop Variations and leave this in the dustbin of what could have been.

I had my hope's up for these
When I had looked at them and looked at the reviews, I thought these would be great to pair with my BTR7 With the balanced output and a tidal FLAC Over LDAC, they sound OKAY to me, your ears may vary, but in my case, they hurt my ears after an hour, they don't fit in my head. And to add to them not fitting and sounding much like the pair of KZ ZS10 Pros I had bought to get a taste of IEM'S, Then I bought these and expected them to sound amazing, and they sound very similar and slightly like the sound of the 50-dollar IEMs MORE than a 300 dollar pair, and I had my friends try them too, they didn't like them. The only nice thing about these is the build quality and the semi-openback design. The sound stage is great, but the sound itself is not up to it, the unboxing experience is a notable item as well, it was very well presented it kept selling me that these are a nice pair of IEM only to be let down by the sound and fit. I also tried to tune them with the included filters, but nothing changed to my ears enough to want to keep them, and they did not fit after trying All 20 Pairs of Tips as well. Your experience may differ from mine, But I will be returning these soon. UPDATE:1/3/24. Since using them for about two weeks, the right earbud started to cut in and out. but the earbuds, honestly compared to other options in this price range, really were not that bad of a sound. I'm going to return them and get another pair. I ended up only using the bass filters, and I like the sound. they still sound like ear buds, unfortunately. and going into this category only have used loudspeakers. I'm now educated that iems are a very different scene. these are good IEM's for the price.

Way better than FH5S
I have been pretty satisfied with the FH7S's. One thing I have noticed is that you do not really see a whole lot of reviews on these IEM's, so I will be providing a pretty normie review for those on the fence with these IEM's. Overall they deliver really tight bass, good mids and great treble for most music out there. Using the white filters as these seem to be the best fit for me. I listen to a lot of EDM and Rock mostly so these work really well for me. I have upgraded the cable to the LC-RE Pro 2022 and run them through a FiiO KA3 for general phone and laptop use, and SpinFit CP155's for the tips. I also have a pair of FH5's that still hold up today but do not offer the higher quality clarity that the FH7's have but are great for a more relaxed experience. Both of these IEM's are way better than the FH5S's that came out as those are just too harsh on the highs. Are these worth the asking price? While there are a lot of things out there that may be a better deal by far, the only thing I can suggest is to find a place to test these out before purchasing them. I mainly purchase things based on the technology involved with each device, but everything is pretty subjective since we all have ears that are built differently.

So far, so good.
I bought these for my gaming pc as opposed to a gaming headset. They sound incredibly good for what I was expecting from IEMs. I came from Apple EarPods, so I didn't have high expectations. I wanted something that sounded good and well-rounded, and that I could wear for long periods and these fit the bill. I did pay full price for these and I think I got what I paid for. After buying these, I am definitely trusting the FIIO brand a little more if I decide to get something else from them. I also love the variety of earplugs for the proper fit.--That seems so important. These are also my first step into the higher end IEM market, so I am going to expect there will be something better for a higher price, but I'm glad I spent the 300 bones for these. They sound fantastic, as good or better than my Beyerdynamic DT770 PRO 80ohm. They also come with many, many styles and fits of eartips, including SpinFits which are supposed to be fantastic.

Simple SPECTACULAR!
Purchased these after doing alot or research and trying other models in this price range. Got these on sale for $299... what a steal. These are just very impressive all around, from the packaging and inclusions... amazing, to the build quality... very very impressive, to the sound... best I've heard, solid powerful punchy bass to spectacular mids and sparkly highs without being harsh. I have nothing negative to say about these. FYI I am listening to FLAC files on my Samsung 23+ running it through a Fiio BTR15 dac/amp.
