Ultra Hybrid [Anti-Yellowing Technology] Designed for Pixel 7 Case (2022) - Crystal Clear

I dug through my order history and found that I purchased this case 2.5 years ago. It's been great this whole time, protected my phone through multiple drops from adult and child height, but recently the edge of it split apart from the back panel. I like that it was transparent, so I could put my own decorations on the back of my phone. Qi charger worked smoothly through the case. There was some discoloration along the sides from being in my pocket, but that happens with all cases of this material so that was expected.

Although I haven't had this particular case for long, I did have the same type on my last phone and it was amazingly protective. I left my phone on the top of my car once while putting the dog in and it survived me driving away (like an absent-minded idiot). The screen protector was destroyed and there was a little scuff on the case, but everything was otherwise okay. It also lived through being dropped on concrete unscathed after the dog yanked me, and it probably fell off my bed more than once. So, I'm quite confident this case will keep my phone safe from me. As for this particular model, it's comfortable to hold-grippy without being sticky (the sides are TPU plastic). The sides are completely curved unlike the Spigen Tough model I originally purchased. The harder back plastic is a good base for a PopSocket (although I secured mine with E6000 glue nonetheless). The sound quality does not suffer with this case, nor does the microphone seem to have issues. The side buttons don't stick out egregiously but are distinct enough to know by feel for the most part. There could be a little more space between the two volume buttons though. Both Spigen screen protectors fit fine with the case, but I'm sure any other brand would as well. My only real quibble is that my previous case did yellow over time so I'm skeptical about Spigen's "non-yellowing claim." Nevertheless, I feel the pros outweigh the cons.

I've had this case for a year now. So overall the case fits my phone great. It's lightweight, and has overall protected my phone through the depths of hell over the past year. Only downside is the fact it has MAJOR discoloration all around the edges (no I'm not a smoker either). Overall I love it just disappointed in the major discoloration because it just looks gross at this point. However with that said, still buy one. This case combined with the Spigen screen protector saved my phone from becoming part of my car when it got slammed in my car door tonight during date night. There isn't a single crack or scratch on my phone. Well worth it!

This case is exactly what I wanted for my Pixel. It protects the phone well, isn't bulky, and isn't slippery either. There is a decent grip to the case. I do end up buying a new case about once a year because it does yellow over time, probably about after 4-6 months. Having a black phone, I don't think it's that obvious when it turns yellow but it's something that I personally notice and the cases are cheap so I like to treat myself to a fresh one.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Not even a month of use and the yellowing is happening on the sides. It's a slim fit and that's the only good thing it has going for it.

I got my first case between 6 months to a year ago and it has protected my phone from about 4 to 5 drops from my lap to the concrete. On the last drop it made a strange sound and i thought my phone was done for. NOPE it was the case finally coming apart on one side. I didn't even realize it had broken until i felt it while taking a picture later in the day! So i just ordered my replacement case and used it for the comparison photo in my review here. It's slightly discolored in the edges but that's all. It saved my phone enough times for me to want to write a positive review.

I've dropped my phone a bunch of times, even on concrete and this case has protected my phone. I love that I can see my phone's color through it. I bought it in November of 2022 and it's just now splitting on the sides from being taken off and on when needed for cleaning. Time to retire this trusty case. I will also say it's just a little bit slippery to hold, but that also makes it easy to get in and out of my pocket. It does a fair job staying out of the way of my fingers trying to swipe to the edge of my screen.

It always, always turns yellow after about 60 to 90 days. I've purchased 3 of these after I got sick and tired of looking at the case that turned yellow.
