HOUNDSBAY Plastic & Wooden Shoe Stretchers - Adjustable Shoe Widener Expander for Men and Women

I have great difficulty finding shoes that fit well and are comfortable due to significant bunions on each foot. While the rest of my foot isn't wide, I do need more room in the forefront of the shoe. I am constantly searching for shoes, buying, and returning, as my accounts on Amazon and other shoe sellers clearly show! I accidently happened upon these shoe stretchers. I purchased them more out of desperation than confidence that they would help. However, I can't say enough about how they have worked for me. They are very easy to use, and come with bunion plugs which allow for a focused stretch. Of course, length, width and instep height can also be stretched. I followed the tip that says to work in small increments in more than one session, but I only had to apply more than one "stretch" to my sneakers. The bunion plugs have worked beautifully, and I am now stretching all the less than comfortable shoes I have had to endure, each one a day at a time. In addition, I used the instep height stretch on one pair of shoes which were rubbing a toe, and got the same great results. For the record, I did not use stretching spray so cannot comment on its use. All in all, this is a quality product which has been life-changing for me and for my feet.

These shoe stretchers are very easy to use and feel well made. The wooden part is sturdy and holds the shoe in shape, while the adjustable knobs let you stretch tight spots where you need it most. They worked great for loosening snug shoes and made them much more comfortable to wear. A really useful tool if you have tight-fitting footwear.

This appears to work. Would give it 5 but not sure how well it will hold up. Have used it on golf shoes that were slightly uncomfortable due to my big toe on each foot. I have stretched them a couple of times and felt noticeable difference. Good investment to salvage a nice pair of golf shoes. I used my pliers to tighten when they became tight as it became difficult to adjust by hand. You do need to protect the rear of the shoe to reduce contact from the adjustment knob. It will scuff up your shoes if not addressed.

Soooooo happy with this purchase. I have tried other shoe stretchers with limited success. The others were cheaply built and could not handle the job. This bad boy is built to handle the job. It has saved three pairs of shoes that I thought were too tight. Loving it !

Does okay does NOT stretch too big when I tried to get it to go to the 12/13 nope didn’t work made it from like an 11 to 11 wide. Was simple to use just not the write size, also very slippery in a shoe slipped around a lot needed me and my husband the shoe was wearable and comfortable since I didn’t need it to stretch a size but absolutely not worth the money get a fully wooden one.

There is nothing wrong with them. They do the job well. They worked on a few different types of shoes, too. Completely different- but the shape really makes anything fit the heel part better. They’re worth buying just to shape the heel. I may try that- using just enough pressure to create the shape. These are keepers. I used them on Office of Angela Scott high heeled loafers, chucks and a pair of adidas gel kayanos.

This is beautifully made. Comes in a nice box for storage. My only issue was it didn’t work for my shoe. I had an ankle boot and I needed the length stretched. I had already had a local cobbler stretch the width but he said he couldn’t stretch the length. This said it could stretch half a size. Which is exactly what I needed in my right foot. My boot was too tall to really fit it in correctly. If you are like me and have one foot bigger than the other this would be perfect. It is crafted very nicely and it had what I think was Bunion add ons in three sizes with lots of holes to adjust it to where you need it. I wish it had if worked for my boot!

This shoe stretcher is excellent! I've been using it on all my shoes that feels a bit snug, and it opens up the toe area, making all the shoes that much more comfortable. Easy to use, works very well! Great quality.

Great item. Does exactly what it’s supposed to do

Wanted to make sure the shoe stretcher actually worked before leaving a review and I have to say that it indeed worked! Was able to stretch and widen a pair of expensive Prada loafers. It's best to leave the stretcher in the shoe overnight. The only drawback is it doesn't come as a pair. I'll have to buy a second one if I want to stretch both shoes at the same time. It's made with a good hard wood (not cheap plastic). The instructions are clear and it comes in a nice box to store when not in use.
