Fantastic company & product
I have recently become interested in supplementation and in particular, magnesium. It appears that our crops are very low in this essential mineral, and it is not currently added to fertilisers. I started about 3 months ago using the magnesium oil spray and I recently added the citrate tablets to supplement the oil. I avoid the oxide form of magnesium, as it appears that it's absorbtion rate is as low as 4%. The citrate is more like 60% (of course, every body is different, and absorbtion rates are subjective). If you examine the ingredients in most magnesium supplements, you will find that the magnesium therein is of the oxide variety. It is cheap and easier to produce. Is it a wonder why so many doctors tell us multivitamins are useless?! The results of my regimen have been dramatic. I no longer suffer from cramps in my legs (once a nightly occurance). My skin looks healthy and has never been clearer. My anxiety has drastically reduced and my mood is more stable. I used to suffer from vivid and distressing nightmares every night. These are now a much rarer occurance. I am only 2 weeks or so into using the citrate tablets, but as magnesium is notoriously difficult to absorb, I wanted to ensure I am getting the correct amount. I am hoping that the additional (and accurate) magnesium from the citrate will help my still-sluggish digestive system, as magnesium is essential for its proper functioning. The tablets are big and I dislike swallowing such large pills. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they break in half easily. 200 mg is too much for the body to absorb at once anyway, so I divide the tablets in half and take one half 4 times per day. The half tablet is in many ways worse to swallow, due to its one rough surface. However, I overcome this by chewing the tablet and swallowing with a drop of water. If you baulk at the idea of this, don't worry! The tablet is completely tasteless and easily chewed due to its crumbly texture. It may even aid absorbtion as your stomach has less work to do. Additionally, if you crush it with the back of a spoon, it forms a very fine powder which can be added to yoghurt, milk, porridge - just about anything! I ensure my little daughter gets her small dose of magnesium this way.

This has been life changing for me!!!
Yes, they ARE big...but I find them fine to swallow with any liquid. I have a health issue that effects absorption, but these seem to be absorbed perfectly fine by my system. I have now been taking these for many months and can wholeheartedly say that I can’t do without them. I tested to see if I was fooling myself, that they were a placebo, by stopping them for a couple of weeks. No thanks...I’d rather take a big tablet once or twice a day than suffer! This Magnesium Citrate has worked wonders for me. My sleep is massively improved, as is my energy. I’m not bouncing around like a hyper caffeine junky but I am no longer struggling with crippling fatigue. My constipation & bloating problem is no longer a problem...and that has changed my life. Sometimes I take one a day, after dinner, and sometimes I also take an extra one in the day time, depending on what I feel my body needs. My husband also takes one or two a day. It has settled his RLS (restless, twitchy legs) and he now sleeps soundly...bonus is that he snores less!!! He does not suffer with any laxative effect at all. I occasionally do if I take two tablets at once, but it’s not severe or extreme! I say give it a go if you have fatigue or sleep problems or have long term constipation. You will see a difference after only a few days. Also it just seems to improve your body’s general overall well-being - I’m very happy that it works for me & wish I’d learnt about the benefits of Magnesium Citrate sooner.

Super product, oddly large pills.
Hard to notice any difference after just about a week. I have been sleeping well and feeling relatively fresh. I was surprised how big the tablets were considering only 200mg of magnesium. Personally I didn't find any issue taking them but you might want to consider this before purchasing. I suffer from a condition that involves getting good sleep, I cant say it would help everyone but its more than worth a try just to feel more alert without involving lots of caffeine.

Goodp
I've had these before and they keep the magnesium lost due to taking pump inhibitors

Yes they’re tough pills to swallow (literally) but they work miracles
As other reviews have said the tablets are quite large. In my experience buying a few different brands of magnesium tablets from Amazon the tablets always look identical to each other so I assume they all come from the same factory somewhere. That said - they’ve all been very effective for my needs as well. People seem to be using magnesium for a wide range of health reasons, it’s interesting how many beneficial effects it has. For me personally I use them primarily to offset the side effects of my ADHD medication (dexamphetamine) as anyone who takes these meds knows, stimulants can easily cause jaw tension, muscle tension, and headaches. This is largely caused by magnesium deficiency as stims “use up” your body’s magnesium. Taking magnesium supplements every morning and night has eliminated these side effects for me. They’ve also helped with side effects of prescription painkillers I’ve been put on such as codeine, tramadol, morphine, and oxycodone. These famously cause a lot of bad constipation. Magnesium acts as a stool softener and therefore helps reduce this side effect of painkillers a lot. It doesn’t go away but becomes much easier to deal with. Surprisingly doctors rarely recommend supplements such as magnesium to reduce the side effects of the meds they prescribe, but online forums mention it constantly and for good reason, it is highly effective.

Very big tablets
I have no idea how effective these are as it's only been a few days since I started taking them. The tablets are very big and not that easy to swallow. I have to break them up. I won't be buying these again.

Great product
Great product! Suitable for those who lead an active lifestyle, life is full of stress - magnesium is what helps us fight it and sleep well! I must warn you that the dose of 200 in one tablet is 50 percent of the daily norm of a person. Do not take 2 under any circumstances, as there may be an overdose. Since we also get magnesium from food! Good luck to everyone
