Magnesium bisglycinate is a good form of Magnesium to take with great absorbancy. The pills aren't too big and they are elongated, I had no problem with swallowing them. There is no coating though and the surface is "chalky" rather then smooth. I take Magnesium regularly for the heart and nervous system and also as an aid with constipation. The recommended dose is 4 pills which is 400mg of magnesium. However, it is better to start with 2 and adjust the dose as needed as there can be a side effect of diarrhoea. My overall experience with this supplement is positive. I definitely feel a calming effect. I also sleep better if take the pills before bedtime. Can recommend. Hope it helps.
