Better Grammar in 30 Minutes a Day (Better English series)

I am much more aware of my grammar, thanks to this book. Sometimes, I wish I lived with an English teacher. Since I do not, I use this book to help correct my grammar.

My daughter is going through this book and seems to be enjoying it. I haven't spend much time in it myself, but I like how it is broken down into sections and it's easy enough to understand for my almost 11 year old, but is useful enough for adults too.

Better grammar is just that. I was born to the English language, learned Latin, Spanish, Portuguese and some German. Better Grammar "clears away the fog". Better Grammar is a ready handbook by chapter, that helps one to easily removes doubts.

It helps a lot. It's a good book. I recommend it. Buy it. Love it. Read it. Toss it. Back pack in it. Lol

Just made me review and start writing better in a small period of time each day. I studied it for the month of September and I feel more confident.

English is my second language and even if I'm fluent, I wanted a book about the key concepts of the English grammar (because sometimes I get confused or forget something). This book is more for either kids learning grammar OR an adult learning English. It's not bad at all, it's just not what I was looking for.

This help me a lot and I can pronounce word better than before. Also it helping with my speaking word.

I'm a teacher and this is a great resource to have in your classroom!

Where to place apostrophes, commas, semi-colons and hyphens is my biggest struggle. This book was very helpful in that respect. There are many other areas covered as well, although I was not as troubled by those and skipped over them. The book contains some good exercises on each aspect covered; I'm sure it will be my go-to reference for when I need it in the future. (See what I did there?) :)

A disappointing product as the publisher has chosen to use low quality paper. Single line spacing too. But what I find most vexing is that the book is NOT broken down into 30 minute study segments. Thus I find the title misleading.
