High quality and no added fillers or nasty chemicals. Leaves no sticky residue, absorbed quicky by the skin. I've tried many aloe Vera products, even ones that claim to be 99.9% pure but they have some sort of chemicals in them to make the jel thicker. Perfect product, use it almost everyday for many different reasons. Have used it the night before shaving to moisturize my skin and prepare it (helps me get a close shave without cuts) If I do cut myself or get razor burn, the aloe Vera helps sooth the area and helps heal the area, used it for spots, dry skin, sun burn. The possibilities are endless. If you're looking for a high quality aloe Vera gel, this product is your best bet. I love this stuff.

It has a rather watery consistency, but I believe this is good and more akin to the gel you'd obtain from aloe leaves, as well as a little going a long way so the bottle will last ages. There is no smell to it and it dries almost instantly. The ingredients are as stated on the product information, and I received excellent customer service from the buyer, who sent a complimentary recipe book via email. Perhaps I was expecting more from the product because I'd heard about how good it is for healing. I intended to use this on my face to help with acne and hyperpigmentation, but found it to be too drying and it actually made my face worse. It may just be my reaction to it, as I found it worked for the first few days and not afterwards (although this is the same for most products I've tried). I have given it to my sister who seems to be getting on ok with it, and finds it good for drying up spots. Just make sure you use moisturiser afterwards (I'd suggest actually using Vaseline at night, it has worked miracles for my skin!).

I've had a bottle of this in my fridge for three years now. It doesn't get used much (and nor does it need refrigerating), but I use it when I've caught the sun. For soothing sunburn, it's fantastic. I went for my lockdown exercise today and needed it - after applying some chilled handfuls, I was immediately relieved. It's quite runny compared to other similar products, but that's only because those others are thickened with additives during production, and this stuff isn't. The scent is subtle and natural. This is a more pure product, and I'm a fan of their ethical production values. I noticed today though that my bottle is nearly finished; I had that sinking feeling that maybe it's another one of those excellent products that had fallen out of production. Super pleased to see that it still is (albeit with a minor rebranding - Amara Organics to Amara Beauty) and I'll be ordering more. Worth the price in my opinion.

Bought this to try and help my elderly cat who was suffering badly with flea allergy dermatitis. The proprietary flea remedies like Frontline did not appear to agree with him; he is very very elderly and I worried about putting more chemicals on him. In the past I recalled that Aloe Vera was something of a miracle plant and it was the only product that cleared up my own severe scalp psoriasis years ago. I have been applying this product every few days to my cat's worst affected areas, and I can say with all honesty that the difference has been dramatic. Some 3 weeks later his coat is soft and shiny and his skin appears finally to be free of the majority of scabs and sores, for the first time since we took him as a stray. I use this lotion sparingly as he constantly licks himself, and it is good that it is fairly watery and non sticky. I shall continue to use it as I am convinced it has helped him dramatically when nothing else on the market or from the vets seemed to help.

The aloe vera gel I bought seems to be of excellent quality. Unfortunately my face became very red where I applied it. The redness subsided within an hour with no lasting ill effect, but I didn't want to risk using it again. Gave it to my husband to try as an aftershave. He still hasn't used it though so I can't report on his success or lack thereof. The products itself seems high quality, so might be worth using by less sensitive individuals.

I decided to try Amara Organics Aloe Vera gel because I suffer from acne and wanted to try using a natural, gentle product on my face. My acne flares up a lot when my skin is dry. I live in NYC, where the winters can be brutal on my skin, and acne products make my acne so much worse, because they dry out my skin even more. During the very humid summers, my face can get quite greasy, which causes my face to break out as well. Basically, my skin doesn't know how to regulate itself. "/ I've waited a few months to write this review, because I wanted to see the long term affects this product had on my skin. First, I would like to point out that Amara Organics sent me an email days after I made my order thanking me for my purchase while explaining what it can be used for and how if differs from aloe Vera gel you may buy at a drug store. They also attached an ebook with simple recipes I can use with my new aloe gel. I loved that they gave me ideas on how to use their product! As for the Aloe Vera gel: I've used natural aloe gel from the plant for years, which has a very gooey consistency and can leave my skin feeling sticky. The natural plant can be great for sunburns or a face mask, but after a few minutes I want to wash it off. Amara Organics has a very loose, almost watery consistency, which works perfectly for daily use. It didn't leave my face sticky, nor did I feel the need to wash it off. How it affected my skin: I applied the gel after I washed my face and before I applied my moisturizer. If my face feels a little dry that day I will either use less aloe or skip using it that day. During the winter months, when my acne is at its worst, I have to use this aloe gel sparingly, but I still feel that it helped my skin overall. My pores seem smaller, the texture is healthier, my acne marks don't seem to last as long. As the weather in NY becomes more humid, I love this product more and more. Usually, by midday I would have to wipe the grease off my face, but while using AO aloe gel, my face oils feel more balanced. I can use more gel and less moisturizer. I can't wait to use it after a day at the beach! Overall, I recommend this product. Not only is the product great and 100% natural, the company did a great job explaining all the different ways it can be used. I can't wait to try this on a sunburn!

Betroffen waren Dekolleté, Rücken, Bauch und Beine. Da gab mir meine Schwägerin ein Blatt einer Aloe Vera Pflanze, mit der ich die betroffenen Stellen eingerieben habe. Man konnte zusehen, wie die Allergie verschwand. Doch das Beste war, dass der Juckreiz sofort weg war. Dieses Jahr habe ich mich zu dem Kauf des Aloe Vera Gels entschlossen, da das einfacher in der Anwendung ist. Ich habe es nicht bereut. Sofort bei den ersten Anzeichen habe ich das Gel aufgetragen und die Sonnenallergie wurde sofort besser. Außerdem hatte ich mir im Bereich des Dekolletés einen Sonnenbrand geholt. Auch da wirkte das Aloe Vera Gel wunderbar kühlend. Es lässt sich super leicht auftragen, zieht schnell ein und hinterlässt keinen klebrigen Film und ist dabei sehr ergiebig. Mittlerweile habe ich es auch auf kleinen Wunden, im Gesicht und sogar bei meinen Katzen auf Wunden probiert. Ich kann das Gel nur empfehlen und werde es, wenn es leer ist, wieder kaufen. Inhaltsstoffe: Das Gel ist kaltgepresst und besteht zu 99,75 % aus kaltgepresster Aloe Vera und zu 0,25% aus Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Ascorbic Acid und Xantan. Das sind alles Stoffe die für Naturkosmetik zugelassen sind, auch das Potassium Sorbate. Das ist sogar als Konservierungsmittel für Lebensmittel zugelassen, entspricht den Kriterien des BDIH.
