Easy to take
Well made, seems to be strong enough for the job, and very easy to set up and get going. The driver software is on the CD and can be downloaded. There is a quick start guide but, to get the most out of what this tablet can do, you will need to download the full manual as a PDF. There were a few items which came with the tablet, including extra tips, PSU, wireless pen, usb lead, and an AAA battery in the box. Further to this, the seller also supplied a half-glove to wear while using the tablet, a cleaning kit, and a soft fabric/felt carry case. I use a free art/photo editing programme called "Photofiltre7", which also works well with my scanner. I installed the tablet driver, loaded the program, and the pen worked almost immediately. The problem was me, the last tablet I had worked more or less as a mouse, needing right or left clicks to make it do anything, so I had to get used to lifting the pen away from the tablet between actions. Outside the drawing software, the pen works as a mouse. Other than that, I found it a very easy device to use, and a lot better for touching up photos than the mouse. There is a small learning curve, but only in that you will need to get used to moving the pen around while watching the screen. I did find that the pointer moved much less on the screen than I was used to with my mouse. However, considering the small size of the drawing area, compared to the large size of the screen, that was to be expected, and part of the learning curve. It is easy enough to move in small increments, but you will need to develop your manual skills for this. I would highly recommend this tablet, based on my own needs and experience of using the product. It was well packaged, arrived very quickly, and worked out of the box. I consider it exceptional value for money, and see no reason to pay twice as much, or more, for a different model or brand.

Very good pad. Shame about the size.
This pad works very well and I have had no problems with the function of the pad. Installed quickly and is very easy to use. Love the accessories you get it with however the gloves are not essential to use (and they are a little bit big for me). The only downside to this pad is the size. It's really small. Whilst this has not stopped me from using it, it makes long drawing jobs hard. As the pad is not big enough for your whole hand (unless you're just working on the left hand side of your screen) it started to make my hand ache due to the different levels of hand and pen. This hasn't stopped me from drawing properly. Just hand ache! Definitely recommend for amateurs (which I am myself) and people who want to try a pad out without spending loads of money.

Good tablet for complete novices
I received this the day after purchasing so delivery was extremely prompt. I opened it up to find the tablet, a case, a cleaning kit and a 2-fingered glove as well as spare nibs and a AA battery for the pen and practically War and Peace for an instruction manual (turns out there's only actually 3 pages in English). In terms of installing the drivers, it was relatively simple though my Macbook Air doesn't have a disk drive so I had to download them from the Huion website. It comes with two instruction manuals (one for Windows and one for Mac users) which explains very simply how to install the drivers. I had some issues with the pen working and then not working in the initial set-up but my laptop needed updating so I'm not sure whether it was that or another issue. The size of the tablet is relatively small but it is good if you're a first timer like me and don't want anything too show off and the weight of it is practically non-existent so it's very easy to carry it around with you. I use it with Sketchbook and Krita which are both free to download and it works absolutely fine. The pressure sensitivity on it is good and you can change to your desired sensitivity settings when installing the drivers. All in all, a good tablet and good value for money. Would definitely recommend to people wanting to get into digital drawing but not wanting to drop a lot of money on a tablet.

Excellent product.
Arrived before deadline in condition described. Have had no problems with the product, in terms of performance it has exceeded expectations. The graphic tablet comes with a variety of items as shown this includes a stylus with replacement nibs, a CD with drivers (though they can be downloaded online), and paraphernalia such as a specialised glove and a nice case to keep the tablet in. The only hiccup with the setup process is choosing the appropriate drivers for your specific model of tablet, but once you've found the model number and installed the appropriate drivers you're good to go. Though I do recommend going into setup before first time use just to check if you've got left hand mode turned on or not as, for my first use, I found my inputs to be mirrored Up/Down Left/Right. This was resolved easily by toggling the left hand mode option. I loaded up my art program of choice (in this case paint.net) and began to do some digital painting. I find the tablet to be incredibly responsive, easy to use, and far more precise than a mere mouse when it comes to digital artistry. While I cannot compare this against any other tablets as this is my first graphic tablet, I am enjoying using this product and have found it to be an easy to use, and quite effective alternative to mouse based drawing. Customer service for this sales has been excellent. The seller has made sure to keep in touch by e-mail, as well as including a card in the order with contact information should there have been any issue with the product. I am happy to say that there have been no such issues and that I have been very happy with the product and very impressed by the friendly demeanour of the seller(s). Overall I am impressed with this product. It has far more than exceeded my expectations (especially for the price) in its ease of installation and use, and I hope to get alot of use out of it.

Although it's rather small and the pen isn't the most ergonomic, this tablet is an absolute beast when it comes to the bang for your buck. It works very well, it's quite accurate and the pressure sensitivity works very well. The included accessories (especially the carry case) are just a proverbial cherry on the top. The USB cable could've been longer and with a USB-C connector (come on, it's 2019) but it's good quality and since it doesn't see a lot of mechanical stress, I'm expecting it to last the lifetime of the tablet. The pen tips feel quite sturdy and with almost a year of 2~3 days a week use I haven't had to change the tip yet. It still looks and feels brand new. My only real gripe are the three buttons on the tablet itself. They are absolutely useless and I'd happily trade them for a bigger active area on the tablet. (Keyboard on your lap and tablet on the desk works very well) The tablet is HID compliant and works on Mac and Linux out of the box. Windows users will need to download the driver from the manufacturer's website. Windows does recognize the tablet even without the driver but some features (such as the pressure sensitivity) won't work without it. On Linux and Mac, it works very well with the bundled "Wacom" drivers. Works very well with Photoshop on Mac and Windows and with Krita on Mac, Windows and Linux. All in all, this tablet is an incredible value for money and I would 100% recommend it to beginners. (From experience, the smaller area makes your hand hurt less after a long drawing session since you don't have to move it as much)

I'm an experienced graphic tablet user, familiar with Wacom Graphire. I don't use them for art or any other particular purpose; only as a mouse alternative. I find the pen hand position eliminates my carpal tunnel pain. I decided to try the Huion because the price is much lower, and because for my purpose the small size is a big advantage. It is an excellent tablet for the money. The driver disk didn't work for me. It might have been that I plugged the tablet in before running it, or it might have been my CD drive acting up. The driver URL in the printed material was not found. However, searched the internet and found the driver. The Huion website has a number of product pages with bad links for the drivers, so keep trying until you find it. The tablet will work without the driver, but you need it to configure the buttons on the pen and the express buttons on the tablet. I configured the pen's first button as right click, and the second button as the mouse middle button (which allows auto-scroll). The driver doesn't provide an option to configure the second button as a double-click, which is what I'm used to. This is the only downside I found to the H420, and it is no biggie. You can double-click by double tapping the pen on the tablet. There are three express buttons on the tablet that are easily configurable to perform any hotkey combination (Ctrl, Alt, Shift, plus any letter, number, PF key, etc.). I configure mine to Save (Ctrl+S), Close (Alt+F4), and Home (no hotkey needed, predefined). The pen requires a AAA battery, which is a difference from the Wacoms and some other tablets. There is a clicker at the end of the pen that turns it on and off to save the battery when the pen is not in use. This is very easy. You can tell if the pen is on simply by tapping it on the tablet, and a green led on the tablet will flash. Don't worry about forgetting to turn the pen off. The battery lasts a long time. The pen has no eraser end like the Wacom, but I never used that feature. The tablet attaches to the computer via USB. The tablet comes with a great kit of stuff. The wool sleeve is great for taking it with you. It doesn't come with a holder in which to park the pen when not in use. To me, this is essential so you can grab the pen without taking your eyes off of the screen. I'm using the holder that came with a Graphire that since died. The hot area on the tablet comes very close to the edge of the tablet's right and bottom edges (the hot area is indicated with faint corner markings). At first, it was hard to find the bottom-right corner, but I now easily find it by touch. After installing the driver, the on-screen/touch-screen keyboard began to display. It hides just off the edge of the viewable area in the top-left corner. It would pop out, and get in the way when I went for the browser back button. I turned it off by clicking options on the pop-up keyboard. Snap to Edge may have become a little trickier to use, but I've learned to use it also with no issues. The Huion H420 is a great mouse replacement at a great low price. Just be aware that any new graphic tablet will require some adjustment and a learning curve.
