I struggle with round brushes — my fine hair tends to tangle easily, and I don’t have the technique to use them comfortably. This brush has been a much more manageable alternative. I mainly use it to create tension while blow drying, and it has become my favourite tool for that. The 9-row design provides enough tension to smooth the hair properly without needing to wrap it around a barrel. It allows me to guide sections while directing heat, which helps reduce frizz and create a smoother finish. Because my hair is fine and prone to shedding, I make sure it’s properly conditioned before styling and avoid pulling too hard. Used with care, it provides control without excessive snagging. The build quality feels solid and durable. The handle is comfortable to hold, and the brush feels well-made rather than flimsy. For me, this has been much easier and more effective than round brushes, especially for controlled blow drying and smoothing. I have always used Denman brushes as they last so long and do the job. Always easy to take apart for washing. Easy to hold in the hand this size. I also bought the smaller size this time for travelling in my vanity case, which is not so easy to hold. I always have black but thought I'd have a change and the pink and white is definitely easier to find in the bottom of a bag! I even have one for the dog, as they go through her long fine hair a treat and do not snag as much as a dog brush. This time , the only thing I have noticed it that I have static in my hair when using. Never had it before and a little spray on the brush stops this but thought worth mentioning.

Order small brush for my handbag to replace old brush. This was much larger than the one I had. Still a good brush.

I have been using Denman brushes for 25 years and I don't think that will change. I normally have a couple of Denman Brushes on the go at once (handbag, home, work) as I have a lot of long hair that gets wind swept quite easily. I went non the Denman store and found the all black, 9 row brush and popped in straight in my basket. I had never had an all black one before, I also saw on there Denman's in other colours too,. I will remember this for the future. As ever the brush I purchased worked perfectly, I know it will last so long and that I am more likely to lose it that it breaking (I have only had one Denman brush break in 25 years and it snapped at the handle). I would recommend to everyone

Funktioniert prima. Ich habe sehr dünne Haare mit krausem/lockigen Haaren. Wenn ich die Bürste benutze kann ich mir ziemlich schöne Korkenzieher damit drehen (zumindest in den vorderen Strähnen). Lässt sich auch super sauber machen. Qualität wirkt auch gut.
