Explore 50 yoga poses to calm the mind, improve patience, and boost confidence. Includes forward bends, back bends, partner poses, and balance poses for all ages. Review: Just fantastic - This is my first desertcart review, after buying hundreds of things over the years. I used these for the first time today with huge success with a class of year 3 and 4 children of mixed ability and size... Although I've taught performing arts for a number of years I've never taught yoga to children before, and had very little time to prepare. These cards made it easy, and the children absolutely loved it. The images are great, and fantastic as visual aids for the children, some of whom will really appreciate the visual and colourful stimulus. The guidance on the back is of each card is well written and helpful. The section categories are very handy for creating an effective and balanced lesson. I picked a card that appealed from 5 of the 9 different sections, and hey presto, I had a perfect lesson structure. Afterwards they all asked if they could each take a card home to practice! They would also be excellent for injecting some fun into adult classes, if you teach adults. Highly recommended. Review: Highly recommended for the classroom - As a primary teacher I can highly recommend this publication to any colleagues looking for ideas for yoga activities - I've just used them with an 'Golden Time' group of mixed ages (P1 - P7) and are they were a huge success. Despite the range of ages, and a couple of children with mild physical problems, everybody was able to attempt the poses with a good level of success. The pack is divided into different, colour-coded categories (breathing; standing postures; back bends; forward bends; games; balances; etc). This allows you to adopt a pick-n-mix approach to put together a session. Each week I choose the sections we are going to work from (I start with breathing and a balance, finish with a 'time-in' activity, and then choose 2 or 3 other categories to make up the middle section) then let volunteers choose a card from each section. This children enjoy feeling that they've designed the session. The pack is of excellent quality and the cards are durable, colourful and very engaging. One side features an illustration of the pose and on the other clear, simple instructions. I've found them very easy to use, although I have some yoga experience which, while not essential, I think does help.

Excellent yoga cards
These cards are of a high quality and perfect for children as they are hard wearing. My family love this cards, they are so fun, colourful and playful and all the family can get involved in the activities. They give a brief description of what you need to do, easy to read for children. One of my best buys from Amazon, so happy with these including my two young children. They enjoy the fact we can all have fun whilst learning and keeping fit. I will and have recommended these cards to my friends and family.

A wee change of ‘toy’ for kids.
Good sized cards that are easy to see when doing your shapes.

Fun engaging gift for all ages
Big colourful glossy cards broken into different colour coded categories. Lovely big illustrated picture of the yoga pose on the front, with good written and pictorial instructions on the back of the card. Easy to follow for beginners and younglings. Bought as stocking filler for husband who wants to stretch more. Husband and 22 month toddler enjoying doing poses together. Also really fun and engaging activity for visiting nieces and nephews aged between 4 and 12 who have enjoyed trying the different poses, especially the partner ones which were challenging and funny for them.

Great for movement breaks
These yoga cards make it easy and fun to teach simple and complex yoga poses to young children. I use these cards to help with balance as well as breaking up the activity cycle when changing from one routine to another. I also use them for movement breaks if my students and I have been sitting down too long. They are of excellent quality and can be stuck onto the walls with blue tack.

Good Quality and Great Fun for parents and teachers
I have going to a yoga class for 3 years and absolutely love it so this year I have decided to run a club at my school. I bought these cards as I wanted to add a bit of a fun element as the club is for 10 year olds. The cards are gorgeous. Lovely bright illustrations and great explanations of the poses. The box contains breathing exercises, a range of postures and group games. It will be perfect for my club and they would be great for parents to use with their kids too.

Fun with really clear explanations
I was first introduced to these on a course for teaching Kids Pilates. Great cards to introduce kids and adults to yoga poses and practices. Currently using via Zoom with my three nieces to have a fun half hour. Each of them chooses a card and then we practice it. Mixing it up with some mindfulness cards from the Mindful Kids card set which are also fantastic. Highly recommend them.

These are great quality cards containing yoga asanas and the guidance on how to get into them! The beauty on these cards is not restricted on its drawings but also the uplifting wording that helps one relate to the posture with their own feelings and thoughts. This is a great tool for yoga teachers working with kids! I would also recommend this to parents that want some real quality time with their children. They can play, have fun and learn together, explore their movement and feelings, build self-confidence, and trust & appreciation towards their yoga partners.

For anyone who is teaching children and family yoga, this deck of cards is a must have. In spite of the name "Yoga Pretzels" the poses are fun and easy to do. Deck includes recommended practices on breath, relaxation and actual poses. Cards are large and made of strong material so they will not bend. The are made of colorful pictures and recommendations for the practice of breath and movement. It is a very clever way to keep children engaged during their practice and still provide them a level of education about their health and well being. I am really pleased that I could find this material on Amazon. Children and Family Yoga class outlines are difficult to find and it is challenging to continue providing engaging classes without being repetitive. As everyone knows child's imagination can go wild and one can never come up with enough stories to tell, in and out of yoga classes. Excellent reference material for children yoga teachers that can be used in many combinations for a number of engaging classes.
