British Churchill VII Tank 1:35 Plastic Model Building Kit

Although I believe this to be quite an old kit it is still very good and very good value. More up to date tooling are at least 50% more expensive than this. Everything fitted very well and I encounted no problems. In addition to the tank you get six figures and a little cart to practice figure painting on. Overall really good value for money

Why did you choose this product over others?: great model, value

Everything went together really well, despite this being of late 1970s vintage. Works well with the British Infantry group, also from Tamiya. Even the tracks cement easily and stay together despite a wee bit of stretching needed to get them on the wheels. You could motorise it if you had a mind to. I normally build aircraft and ships, but this was a pleasant change.

A brilliant quality kit despite it's age (1977 release). Required a bit of sanding but fit like a dream when compared with most modern airfix and revell kits. Also came with more soldiers than shown in the picture (6 total). The only downsides with this kit is the 2 part gun barrel which does require some work to lose the seam (although I have seen aluminium ones online) and the rubber tracks which will require a bit of fiddling to fit. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a Churchill for their collection. No completed pics to hand but see attached for work in progress.

Well done Tamiya , good price , fairly easy to build , still had to be creative at times to get things to fit ( could be my fault ? ), agree with other gentleman regarding the two piece barrel, spoils the appearance a wee bit , but a;ll in all , a fine looking model once you've paited , weathered and distressed it . Happy. Tamiya rules !

A very good kit, straightforward and well engineered with good fit and detail producing a satisfactory museum quality reproduction of the real thing. Neither too easy nor too hard to build. Excellent fit.

ゴツイ戦車です。足回りなど組むの面倒臭いかな～と思いきや、サクサク組めます。流石タミヤです。 この戦車、ながめて楽しいのですが実際は強かったのかな？弱そう（笑）

first time buyer here and I absolutely loved the amount of detail this kit had! I am a perfectionist so i added tons of other details too but this kit is so dynamic.. you can do quite a lot with it! Fantastic!

This Churchill Tank kit is a classic kit that never lost its appeal. It was first released back in 1977 and it is still in production. The only thing that is different from this release is the addition of four figures. The original had two but Tamiya added four newer figures. These newer figures look great in it's facial expression and detail. Building the kit was straight forward and easy. There are not many parts to this kit and once you finish gluing the pieces together, the tank looks real. I had no problems either gluing the kit or reading the instructions. Tamiya is known for its easy to build but well detailed model kits. For a kit this old, the details are pretty good. I recomend this kit for both the beginner and the expert. You will not be disapointed in building this tank.
