Q: Does the lens fit on a Nikon d3400

Yes, it's an F-Mount which is the mount on the D3400. It will be the equivalent of 35mm on the D3400 though. Quite an expensive lens to just get 20mm on a DX body. For this price you might want to look at the Sigma 10-20mm or the Nikon 10-24mm roundabout a similar price but you will be able to go really wide. This 20mm is an FX format pro lens for specialist wide work hence the gold ring around the lens and the Nano Crystal Coating.

I used it on my Z6 and it worked well. To be honest I have not had time to use it extensively but the results were as good as my D850 and D5.

Q: Will this fit a Nikon D7000?

Yes it will fit BUT in some ways you are wasting your money as the f1.8 (a fantastic lens) is an FX lens for full frame cameras. However, the D7000 is a DX camera and you will not get 20mm and it is not really designed for your sensor.
