Impressed by the attractive black sheen finish and the heavy metal base which ensures the unit does not move while adjusting the head . It also takes a 40watt easily purchased bulb unlike some led tube bulbs which cannot be replaced. Definitely recommended.

Smallish and well engineered angle-poise lamp. Looks good - works well although only takes a E14 bulb (40 W maximum) in small bowl. Perhaps not the brightest. Versatile - horizontal swing c90 degrees vertical swing c180 degrees.

Recently got this lamp. Didn't install it for about a month after I ordered it. Today is the last day of it's life. It has already stopped taking bulbs. I am appalled. The last one, I've bought atleast two of these before this one, lasted atleast a year. Appalled.

I have had 'angle-poise' lamps before and this does exactly the same job. The light is good and it is quite easy to direct it. The disadvantage for me is the size. It was smaller than I had expected. At its most extanded it is only 18 inches high, which for me is a little low. I liked the idea of two different 'feet', but the size brought it down, so only 3 stars from me!
