Sunny Isle Jamaican Black Castor Oil 8oz | Original | For Healthy-Looking Hair, Skin, Nails, Eyebrows & Eyelashes | Skin Conditioning

I started off using Sunny Isles's Jamaican Black Castor Oil which is specifically made for beards & absolutely loved it. When I first started growing my beard, I was using a generic beard oil with ingredients such as almond oil & all other different ingredients which softened my beard, but I still needed beard balm or beard butter to control it to keep it in shape. With Sunny Isle's Jamaican Black Castor Oil for beards, I found the thickness & consistency of the oil was just right to not only soften my beard, but also keep it nicely shaped & controlled. You only need a small amount to work into your beard & it should hold it in shape all day + I find the smell of the oil to be quite pleasing as you can really get a nice subtle hint of the castor beans + other ingredients which go into the oil. The first time I purchased the beard oil, I purchased a 6Fl Oz bottle, but after I ran out & the coronavirus lockdown had started in the UK, I found the only available size in the beard oil available was the 2Fl Oz bottles which I found myself to be going through quicker, so noticing that you can get one of the standard types of Sunny Isle Castor Oil in 8Fl Oz bottle, I decided to do a bit of research. After asking a few people online if this oil would still be suitable to use on your beard, I was pleased to be told it was. The only piece of advice I was given was to use a little bit less, which I can see why & advise this is best to follow if you are using this for your beard as this oil is a bit thicker than the type specifically produced for beards, so a little drop will go a long way. I also noticed the smell of the castor beans & other ingredients is a little bit stronger, but I do not mind this as I quite like the scent & am pleased by the amount of control it gives my beard. Honestly you will only need a small drop on your fingers, work it a little bit, rub nice & gently into your beard, work it through your beard with a beard comb or brush & you are good to go. I bought this for my daughter, she's of mixed race and I have been using pure argon oil with success for a number of months. The reviews on this sounded good and I must say I am impressed. I bought it to maintain her regime but I think this has improved the quality of here hair. There is a slight smell as to be expected from castor oil but I still use the argon oil which covers it up. Her hair was strong and thick with the argon oil but it did seem a little dry on the ends. Since using this her hair feels softer and the ends aren't as dry as they were before. I think it's also taken some of the curl out of her hair too but I'm not sure if it's this or maybe the argon oil. I would recommend this to anyone but I would say use something else with it that smells nice to mask the smell of castor oil. I still use the argon oil after applying the castor oil and I don't notice the smell at all.

After 3 year of trying to find products that will help with my itchy scalp and thinning hair (I have Asian hair, coarse hair, wavy type). I’ve used other high end products and it made my thinning worse. It’s been 6 weeks of using this oil. I’m starting to see how much baby hair has grown around my receding hairline and on top of my head where the headphone rubbed so hard that it leaves a bald patch. The oil is a thick consistency. I rub a thin layer on the bald area everyday. My skin absorbs it well after a few hours. And I use this oil as a pre-shampoo before I wash my hair to help keep the moisture of my hair. It washes out very well and my hair feels so soft. I also use it as overnight hair mask (this might not be for everyone) but this works wonders for my hair. I really do recommend this product if you don’t see any result from rosemary oil/water

A bit sad that it says hexane free on the picture but not on my bottle. On my other bottle, it said hexane free. Yet this one is different. I was able to get a refund but really just want a hexane free version. This version is also more viscous. My other hexane free version was wayy more thicker.

I lost most of my hair due to anxiety and stress being a carer for my husband for many years. Sadly he passed away in January 2023. This castor oil was introduced to me by a friend. I started using it in June this year Now I have unbelievable hair growth. Can hardly believe it myself. Personally, I highly recommend this product. If has done wonders for my hair and I am sure it will work for others. I use Castor oil shampoo. Castor oil . conditioner, Castor oil leave in conditioner and Castor oil. Wash hair then use these other 3 products to boost hair growth. Good luck

Naar mijn mening is dit toch wel een van de betere, zo niet beste castorolie. Ben hier zeer tevreden mee.

Smells not good but good for C4 natural hair

My hair used to fall off even by a simple hand through my head but when I started using this oil my hair regained it's strength I highly recommend this product.
